  1. Hi Ken - She's a beaut. What year was #20 built?
  2. Battery is dirt cheap on amazon - $101 - https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=odessey+680
  3. Battery Buddy. Literally just put mine back on the car (have the same battery) this morning. Amazon - Extreme Max 1229.4009 Battery Buddy PRO 6V/12V (1 Amp / 4 Amp) Water Resistant Battery Charger / Maintainer
  4. Ok I like this one Skip!
  5. Wow that looks AWESOME!!! Nice photo Dave.
  6. nevermind. Just going to loosen a hose.
  7. Delphi radiator doesn't seem to have any proper drain plug (or fill cap). Where do I drain from so I can flush?
  8. Now that's a "bad" car. Very tempting, should learn to drive @ limit w/ miata powerplant first; however. Hope it makes it's way to a an east coast buyer so I can see it in person. D
  9. I agree. I have never used the wiper fluid. When I have any trouble I just use Windex when I get home. Unless it's required to meet local DoT, I'd just leave it out, IMHO. Come to think of it, I should drain mine to add some lightness as 1 gallon = 8 lbs.
  10. Pre-litigation - Prior to Caterham suing Westfield and the associated changes Westfield needed to make to differentiate (i.e. Fiberglass).
  11. Anyone interested in getting in some last minute track time at NJMP Lightning through NASA Northeast? I'm looking to go. Nov 5th and 6th. $450 for 2 days unless you're HPDE1 which is more.
  12. I think we may have a new "beauty queen" at next year's NJMP event. I'm ok with that, I've gotten sick the event owner walking into the changing room anyways... :deadhorse::flag::grouphug: NICE CAR!
  13. Surprised no Storker guys chimed in and suggested aero... Also, Nick, you clearly know a ton more than I, but did you mean reduce front pressure and raise rear?
  14. Call Commonwealth Auto Tags in Pottstown, PA and ask for Chris - (610) 326-3330 She knows how to handle these things and they aren't going to charge you an arm and a leg to handle paperwork. I know you're mid-process already, and far away in PA and hope they can find a way to be your agent regardless. Also, Dave from Blast from the Past in Pottstown, as mentioned early on, is also SUPER knowledgeable about all this and knows how best to respond and solve with PA officials.
  15. Enhanced Inspection.pdf I don't believe you need bumpers. As croc said, that sounds like they are just trying to make it hard. I've attached the PA Enhanced Inspection info I have, you should fall under SPCON when you go to the state. Make sure to write "SPCON 1967 Lotus Seven".
  16. Throwing out a guess. Need to use header wrap to cover exposed exhaust bits?!?
  17. Blokko - Always a race on iRacing, every 30 mins. All the MX-5 leagues require (esp the entry level - Where you won't need new tracks) is the yearly fee ( you can get it for $50 discounted to join) and a cheapo wheel and pedals setup for $100. Licensing cleans up the races as you advance as it's a safety based system Mike - OK now that hurts a bit... JK. Seriously though, now you're going to force me to supercharge that little 1.6 and get some more NJMP track time in advance (Driver enhancement training is required) so I so I can feel a little less shame and earn a proper award next July... As far as iracing, I tend to run mid-pack in the top split (how they group 12-20 cars out of 100 entrants) for MX-5, skip barber and GT3 etc, when I'm practiced up mid-winter.
  18. Anyone else out there Sim race as a winter sport? I'm partial to iRacing. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11820&stc=1
  19. USA7s.net - Making me want things I never knew I needed... Thanks guys.
  20. Great video again and I can't believe this was 20 mins from my place and I didn't even know about it. Looks like a LOT of fun and I also have to agree w/ Kitcat on likelihood of disaster. Was just watching Chapman and Enzo Ferrari biographies this weekend, seeing the spectator incidents and (somewhat unfair) manslaughter charges. Looks like you're not running your normal 10/10th, though not everyone is that sensible in these situations. In total, pretty awesome and I would still attend next year, do not get me wrong.
  21. Funny Tom - That's what I noticed too. Neat to see the race line you need to take, esp. with less HP vs. the school line most of us run.
  22. Blows my mind you were able to keep up given the HP difference. Nice driving.
  23. Had the same issue on my Westfield and went with EBC Yellow Stuff. Seemed to give me a lot more stopping power vs pedal pressure required. Good luck!
  24. I wanted stronger braking and put on EBC Yellow Stuff. Seemed to solve the problem for me due to increased coefficient of friction. All the above are also correct solutions I considered in parallel.
