  1. Dual Heaters????? Must mean the exhaust pipes and the trans tunnel, He He He He. Looks like a nice one, Russ
  2. OOOOOOH. Bring it to the Se7ens Gathering in KC over Labor Day weekend. IT will be a hit! You can enter it in the " Diamond in The Rough Class" (barn finds) and the 7's class. Russ
  3. You got to really love the midwest. Yesterday Julian D. and I took our 7's out for a 5 hour blat. Sunny and upper 60's. We had a great time and no break downs. Today it is in the mid 70's and cloudy but too many things to do to go out for a drive, besides I'm going to tear out my master cylinder and front calipers and replace them tomorrow. Especially sence tonight there is a 100% chance of snow and freezing rain thru midday tomorrow. I am tired of winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Russ
  4. If you guys are signed on to any other Se7en forums and you have not seen my add for the Midwest Se7ens Gathering there please contact me and let me know the forum name so I can get an add there to inform prople about it. Tks Russ

  6. Wow! Is the only thing I can say.
  7. This is my second reminder to you all about the Midwest Se7en Gathering in Kansas City over Labor Day Weekend 2008. It is being held in conjunction with the Kansas City All British Car and Cycle Show. See the link at http://kcallbritish.tripod.com/index.html. Sevens of all types are going to be the “Guest Marque” for the show. On Saturday, August 30, there will be a nice long tour of the local twistys with stops at some of our local attractions. That night we will have a Se7en’s only BBQ and B/S session at my house. On Sunday morning, the 31st, the car show starts with awards presented around 3pm. The Se7ens class will have three sub classes in it each with special 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards. The first sub class is Original Lotus 7’s and Caterham’s, second is “Kit 7’s” like Westfield’s, Birkin’s, Ultralight’s, etc. and the third class will be Locost Homebuilts. These places will be determined by popular vote by Se7ens Class entrants. In addition to these awards there will also be 1st through 3rd place for the entire Se7ens class that are voted on by the entrants to the British car show. So it is quite feasible to get two awards in the same show. The T-Shirts that are given out at the show will also have a Lotus Seven on it as part of the show logo this year. Entry fees for the car show and tour should be around $30. BBQ fees have not been determined yet. If you are interested in attending this event please email me, Russ Amos, at trialsman@kc.rr.com. Even if you are in the process of building a Se7en or are seriously contemplating a build, you are welcome to come. I know this seems early but I am trying to get a better idea of the number of people coming. So far there are five that said YES and about twelve that said MAYBE. If you have already contacted me about this event, please do so again so I will have your email address in my records. Russ

  10. I always stuff the crap they send plus anything else I can get in their envelope (less my name) and put it back in the mail. They must love me becaust I get 5 or 6 a week.
  11. The first Stinger missiles that we gave the Afgan rebels that were fighting the Soviets did the same thing. They were not impressed. The warhead will not arm itself untill it is over 100 meters out but if that rocket motor decides to ignite while on the ground it would like a shot gun blasting rocks and other sh*t backward.
  12. Welcome to the community, John. You might concider bringing that Seven to the Midwest Se7ens Gathering in KC over labor Day weekend 2008. We are going to have several here. 7's are the featured marque for the Kansas City All British Car show that weekend. Russ
  13. Wow, now that is pure sex! I have never seen one before. Russ
  14. Try it without a top or wipers and a 3" per hour rain sometime if you want a real thrill!!! Glad you are finally getting to enjoy your 7, Russ
  15. SOLD!!!!
  16. Don't forget the Midwest Se7ens Gathering already scheduled for Kansas City over Labor Day weekend 2008. Russ
  17. Xflow7 if will make you feel better it was 56deg and partly cloudy at 6am this morning here in KC. By 9:30am it is 24deg and heavy snow and it is suppose to get to 10deg tonight. I guess I should not have bragged about my sunny blat. Russ
  18. Xflow7. Gee, are we a little touchy??? Cabin fever will do that to you. Try to think happy thoughts and breath deeply. and say Ahmmmmmmmmmmmm..............Remember there is a blat in your future after the glaciers receed, Russ
  19. 60deg and sunny here in KC. Just got back from a 2.5 hour Blat scoping out routes for the Midwest Se7ens Gathering. Found some twisties that ought to be fun to go on. Right now my Locost looks like a Baja Buggy with all the mud and road crap on it from all the melting snow around here. Oh well!!!
  20. Boy that would be a pair to draw to. But I doubt they could afford both, Russ
  21. Contact me via PM. I'll contact the other guy and see if he is still interested, Russ
  22. not mine but sounds like a good price. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/mcy/541646959.html
  23. On that site also. Still have it but one guy has express interest in it. But he has not commited to it yet. If you are interested I'll put you second in the order. Frt estimate to Dallas area was $100-125 to a business address so you will have an idea how much additional it would be. Russ
  24. I know Julian and he does drive his Se7en. It is nothing for him to go on a 300 to 400 trip on a weekend. He really puts the miles on it. Plus it goes like stink! And sounds like no other. Russ
  25. Heck my Xflow started out new at 58hp (1979 1300cc). With age and the altitude I should be in negitive HP by the summit Russ
