  1. Caterham 7 310R - Is it really as good as everyone says it is?
  2. I'm singlehandedly ruining the average Miata ownership of USA7 members with 5.5 NA's....
  3. I support them doing limited specials. Builds excitement for the brand and "halo" models off sorts. I would LOVE for them to actually commit to James May Grand Tour offroader Nomad version
  4. I have a supercharger sitting for my 1.8 sitting waiting to be installed. Maybe one day I'll put it in.

  7. My Hans says 2026. Does that mean I'm still good for this year and it expires on December 31? Should be good for this year right?
  8. Have you used something similar to this? https://locost7.info/gearcalc.php
  9. This was actually a good film and the fitment in the end should be shared with anybody big who ever tries to fit into an S3

  13. Congrats! Can you post a picture with the hood off? Nice cat-ception.
  14. Awesome photos. Looks like a great drive
  15. @JohnCh why does this keep happening? Is it a hot link issue? I thought things get saved locally when you paste them in? I insert images in 2 forms. 1) "copy/paste" from Facebook which I think is most of these dead ones are 2) snip it and copy and paste the snip which would have to make it local file. Does that mean that copy and paste hot links it instead of local upload Trying it below in both forms to test 1 - copy paste 2 - clipping 1) 2) clip Edit: As I do this only one uploaded locally so yeah copy and paste on #1 hot links it, which is annoying as once they disappear I can't replicate them without knowing what it was originally. Sigh..
  16. Good read. They picked good examples. I knew 7s were bad but didn't know it was THAT bad.
  17. First 2 weeks of Caterham ownership, Not what I expected!
  18. Life use to be simpler when "free market" used to be more "free" Tried to buy something from UK Amazon and the charges creep up quick. $87 item turns into $228. Quite sure shipping is very inflated by the seller to cover for the headache. So glad I bought most of my UK parts for the 7 when I did Same item used to be about $125 shipped before.
  19. I have a softbits and am a big fan overall. Rarely use it as I never have windshield but have no issues with it
  20. Can we collectively talk about how nuts this is? In today's modern day and age of optimization and cutting costs left and right, streamlining production, lean 6 sigma etc it's mind blowing that a manufacturer is has two nearly identical models running side by side with one being just a nudge bigger. This doesn't really exist anywhere else other than maybe food items when you get to select your package size and even then its usually a pretty drastic difference. Any normal manufacturer would have nixed S3 a long time ago and has moved on to a more "global" SV only version that fits a bigger percentile of people. Us second hand owners would hold the "old size" in high regard (who can fit or want them) and seek them out. Big kudos to Caterham to keeping the original (more or less) Lotus 7 going as it was. Keeping the S3 alive also made it easier to fit into the Kei size format for Japanese market, which is a nice bonus.
  21. When I talk to my coworkers I just refer to it as the "toy car". Trying to call it by brand name to non auto enthusiast engineers who all drive camrys is received with a blank stare.
