  1. I've read some good things on the new BF Goodrich G-Force Rival (doesn't come in 13in). I think I'm going to give them a shot in a couple months... house remodel is taking it's toll.
  2. Well he must know the road real good;) I'm sure he's doing what many of us would do if given the chance. Good for him! Expect to see a lot more him there in a year or so, after he quits the show.

    Summers here

First 100 degree day... but it's a dry heat;)
  4. Your car just keeps getting better and better. Sadly, if I can't bolt it or plug it... it ain't happening.
  5. Awesome, my all time favorite racing car won
  6. For those with an Ultralite and wondering.... don't mind the rust strip, it's an aluminum plate
  7. Far out man, I think you should of painted the whole car blue and continued that graphic... but hey, I grew up in the SF Bay Area in the 60s.
  8. I'm all for putting a car through it's paces... but I started cringing thinking about the paint on those gravel roads. Have to admit it's the first time I've seen burn-outs in reverse. But hey, it's their cars, and to each their own.

    Falling Apart

Last Thursday I had my first experience with kidney stones... last night I couldn't be more than 10ft from the toilet all night (dropped 5lbs). Just sitting here zoning out....
  10. Can't agree more on parent involvement with schooling. I think teachers get a bad rap... it's hard to get a student to improve without support from a parent. As far as guns, I don't really have a problem with the type of gun someone has. But I don't really see the need for assault guns (military type). I assume it's a form/function admiration of it's abilities that people like (they're badass)... or they're preppers. I don't see the problem with universal backround checks. Big brother has a lot more critical info on a person then what type guns they own. In California, you can own an assault type weapon, but it's registered so the police know if they come up on a domestic dispute at a home with that type weapon they can take extra precautions (and I'm ok with that).
  11. But I'm putting a 2008 5.3 Vortec drivetrain in my 67 PU, along with rack & pinion. Now I'll have something to tow the 7 if the need arises.
  12. Man, you sure your not in advertising? Because I want to move there! 33 degrees is nothing, we get in the low 40s here.. but it's a dry heat;) Now that your settled in you need to change your "location box". Then I can google earth the area and dream. California ain't what it used to be.
  13. He doesn't say how long it's been running... Perpetual motion machine - YouTube
  14. I was told the difference between motorcycle and car helmets is the paint. Guess they don't worry about motorcycle riders being engulfed in flames... plus some car helmets come pre-drilled for Hans type restraints. Here's the one I recently bought... thought it was a good compromise on quality/costs http://www.pyrotect.com/product.php?productid=46&cat=14&page=1 .

    Don't look down

    "Brave" is debatable;) .
  16. What a chicken... not using the outside beam
  17. Very nice... I like the rear fender style. Great workmanship!
  18. All we need out here are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and we're fine. .
  19. The automatic allows you to use your right hand to adjust the A/C and shuffle your Iphone music .
  20. I think one of the things everyone here likes is that there's pretty much a car for every person. From Locost to direct Lotus heritage.... to each their own. It's all good. I took this thread as just a little ribbing, all in good fun. Nothing mean spirited. I'm sure that Westfield is an awesome ride. .
  21. Yeah, but they don't make a tilt up hood... and my car is really really shiny;) .
