I had the 955cc Triumph Daytona triple... great bike (great sounding too). Hard to imagine it pushing the Elio and getting more than twice the mileage I was getting on 2 wheels (though the way I rode it had a lot to do with that)

Glad to see you've finally got her back... that's phenomenal HP for natural aspiration! I see the new Kraftwerks supercharger says it delivers 400hp for stock motor (plus header). Curious which choice would give the cheaper price per horsepower and/or if there's any reliability differences (assume your engine internals are quite beefed up). Man, can't imagine the power your motor would make with a SC (haven't even driven it yet and we're already talking about more power;) Silly ain't it. Well I'm living vicariously through your efforts. Keep it up!

You'll have to find a hot rod, race car or fab shop. You may be like me, I can replace parts but have no skill at welding or actually making something from scratch (unlike many on this forum).

That looks great! I've had a fuel starvation problem on a big bend at Buttonwillow . Put one of those little boxes with ball type trap doors in the tank but I don't let my tank get too low either. This might just be the ticket

Yep, had that clunk sound and it was loose driveshaft bolts to rear diff (kind of hard to reach)

Looks real clean, good job! Better to be a little higher than original rather than lower... ground clearance is at a premium with these cars.
