  1. :nonod: The big lineup plan never made any sense to me
  2. Scott L has one... his handle here is 951n914. Martin, don't you have one too? or am I losing my mind?
  3. I gotta put some marks on the bender... the bottom bends on the main part are just slightly off from each other :-/ but it should work. These will get riveted to the floor once it goes in.
  4. the master is here. LOL
  5.
  6. I've used it a bit... Haven't used it lately though. I put some seat time in one of the Miatas at our local track, and started getting a decent handle on the car. Then I did a software update and the car was undriveable compared to before... I haven't played much with it after that. Here's one of my best laps, followed by totaling the car.
  7. Merry Christmas to all
  8. Jerry, Arya loves his torchmate CNC setup... Really digging your crane setup. Very nice.
  9. Joke, I mean Juke, takes the cake.
  10. Looks like Christchurch got hit AGAIN?!
  11. It's very slightly angled... only because I wanted to fit it in between those white plastic pieces... those are my holders for the dremel, when i want to use that. The torch is mounted on a piece of metal with U bolts, and that piece of steel is connected to the router using 4 little magnets, so if the tip hits an immoveable object, it falls off the gantry. If I wanna get fancy, I could put a kill switch for the torch trigger as part of that too, but I wanna get busy building actual parts for the car and move the project along.
  12. eventually you can put two of them together and do something useful. LOL. Finally got around to making something for the car after it sat around so long :-/ This particular attempt failed because the torch dragged the piece - 2nd attempt moved a tiny bit too, but the piece was useable
  13. Mike, he highlighted the relevant part... blah blah blah Dancing Girls blah After Dark blah. k, now serious question Michael... For Hyperfest, as a novice you have to carry an instructor, right? My car will be a single seater...
  14. It's too clean Steve. LOL
  15. That wait has to be very tough. If all goes as planned though, you'll be getting it on the road at the start of the season.

Funny stuff - saw it before Stan's post.
  17. That's because I'm doing everything opposite of Frankn7 Steve. LOL
  18. Yes it does... As soon as I came back in the house I started listing all the stuff that need to be done before I can take her for a spin. LOL. It's a LONG list.
  19. Finally got things hooked up and tried to get her started. It scared the CRAP out of me. LOL. After a few almost starts... it fired right up and revved HIGH (must be awesome for the motor :ack: ). Since I have everything just hanging off the car, I wasn't prepared for that :willy_nilly:. It didn't bounce off a rev limiter - if I had to guess, it probably went to 7k or so. I think it died on its own. Yikes. Didn't do my ears any good either with open headers in a garage with closed doors. On the next attempt I was prepared to shut her off. LOL. Finally realized the two throttle actuator connectors are interchangeable. swapped them and she starts up smoothly :hurray:
  20. man, that engine sits right in between the front wheels
  21. Looks fantastic! thanks for sharing
  22. yum!
  23. No need. As Jerry said, it's all good.
