Al, I'll mail you the full file pic - the differences are much clearer. Meanwhile, there's been much chatter about roll bars on Blatchat - here's an example http://www.blatchat.com/T.asp?id=121470
Al, I thought all their roll bars were canted forward a bit?
Should have posted this pic - shows yours, mine and Scott's (and Mazda's, though I'm sure it's different now...)

This might help. My UK car had the 'standard' Caterham roll bar...

My current car has the Caterham FIA roll bar - though it also came with an additional brace which runs from the crossbar down into the passenger side footwell - not sure if this was standard with the FIA bar or an option. I have not fitted it as mine is mostly for road use and this additional bar would make it near impossible to carry a passenger. hopefully you can see the difference...

If the spec is correct (and as Al says it needs to be checked) it could be a great track day car. Not sure what those seats are, but they did not come from Caterham. I love that the spec says 'Factory AM/FM' audio system  Yeah, right.
Hopefully Ed will post the shot he was taking. I can think of some interesting captions for this photo, but maybe I better not post them:
I think that's called the Lotus Position
Sorry, couldn't resist.
If you want real 'happy feet' check this one out - older, so not so good quality, and check out the crowd control

Talking of leisurely rides... I might be up for this, but can't confirm till nearer the date (might have to do a UK trip at short notice).
Which lodge at the resort are folks planning on staying at?
Steve.
This site might be useful - the guy logs and photographs the whole build process - the engine is Zetec SVT and I think the box is T9, but with long first gear.

Can't remember who's site this is (on here?), but I enjoyed it very much
This is one of the best Nurburgring videos I've seen - love the small driver picture in picture.

Finally cool enough to get out this am :hurray:
Great couple of hours. Note to self: one Hardee's Sausage biscuit is enough - especially before the twisty stuff :ack:
Thanks Don. Not sure of the relationship between Caterham Life and Low Flying... Having given the story to LF, I would not want to upset them by giving the same story to Cat Life (if you see what I mean), particularly if it comes out earlier. Maybe someone else could do a piece?
I'm happy to 'edit' copy for UK use
I sent a piece plus photos on 7/7/07 to Low Flying - the UK Magazine - as soon as we got back from the Dragon. Hopefully it will be in next month.
Steve.
Not sure if this helps... but a good friend of mine represents trail tech products in Europe. They have a product called 'Vapor' which I know some kit makers are getting into (bit like a 'Stack' dash, but at a fraction of the price).
Details here http://trailtech.net/vapor.html
Apologies if this is way off beam.
Al, book early, there's already talk of flight shortages to Asia 'cos of the Olympics (which start on 8.8.08) and the number of weddings on that date... you know why.
