  1. shameless post: if anyone needs a PERFECTLY work surge tank system. i am passing this one along to the next usa7s member as it was passed to me. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?11197-FS-surge-tank-setup-(fuel-starvation-protection)&p=100617#post100617
  2. bought this setup from RNR for about $100 all in. i spent a bit more going over some welds that developed leaks. used this setup for 2 years and 2 usa7s track day events at NJMP. the system works FLAWLESSLY. im making some changes so i can reclaim the functionality of my trunk. after all i have into this id love to get $125 plus ship or i can bring with to to njmp on the 1st and hand it over in person. here is the original setup: http://members.rennlist.com/tweedt/surgetanksm.jpg
  3. Spoke with Don yesterday at the CF Charities SuperCar Car show. He was being blown around quite a bit even with his temporary third leg. He say he will be all healed and back on two by the event/party. Still unclear how Chef Murray will top himself this year... but it will happen. This is not an event to miss. Roman - the procrastinator.
  4. ah, say it aint so... i loved the drives you setup for us through milford!
  5. if you guys want i can lend you my cover for a test fit as long as you dont keep it to long. i only use it inside. just pay for the shipping to you and back to me...
  6. i find the cover is a bit loose on top but around the fenders its a bit... tight. really depends on your footprint or fender overhang i think.
  7. michael, you callin my 7 fat?
  8. mine has the straps as well. but its on so snug that i cant imagine any wind removing the cover... even what we had last year over the 4th at njmp.
  9. so, with info from MichaelD i got a car cover off ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Seven-57-72-Caterham-Fitted-Outdoor-Car-Cover-SALE-/200582992462?hash=item2eb3ad924e:m:mTTZO6L8fBKXFStxNg0STig&vxp=mtr cover is VERY nice. it fits my ultralite VERY snug... i would have it be a inch bigger in length and a hair lower (i have 18" wheels) otherwise not change a thing. pardon the mess in the shop, i had a shelf brake and everything is on the floor until i put my new on up. pics of this cover on MichaelD's car can be found here http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?10381-Seven-Car-Cover&highlight=car+cover http://i.imgur.com/785oQfcl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/2QIBl2nl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ty7KnRPl.jpg
  10. wow, that color rocks! do you have a name or color code?
  11. yes, thats a factory s2000 shifter. generally they are cut very short. i have recently acquired a ap2 trans with the hopes that it will be a bit softer on the shifts (even with my cut shifter). ill let you know!
  12. not sure why people are having issues with teflon joints. i had all of mine replaced several years ago and did not have any issues. this included track days, years of auto cross and street driving. during a recent alignment found 4 or 5 (of 32) needing attention, and those because of binding due to poor alignment. that being said, if we have an EVEN BETTER option, why not go for it?
  13. o man, i think i just found my new favorite color combination
  14. nice to see them ultralites out and about!
