    I can't speak for the R500, as I haven't had a owner turn over the keys. But I have driven a very nice CSR and really like everything about it. Also, Mike is spot on, there are nice sevens out there that are not made by Caterham. Do you have any thoughts on what will power this beast.... Good Luck...

    There is no need to go to Denver , unless you find it's time to write the check and place your order. I think we have the Caterham line up covered here in the Northeast. Drive down to NJMP for the seven track days, and inspect the fleet..

    Karl, Thats a great car to learn to drive in. That R300 has you spoiled, this will teach you all about momentum, because of the lack of hp, car control ( spec radial tires),and they are a very proven race car. And this school will be alittle more racy than your track days. You may learn to love these cars. Save the chance of something bad happening to the seven also. Steve

    Mike, I'm pretty pleased with my R888's. Now that it's warm and I lowered the pressures to 18, they are working well. Pushed them as hard as I dare on the local back roads today , and had no drama. Track guys say they are great... Steve

    Stock clutch works well unless you have or plan on throwing globs of HP thru it. Like Mike said, Cheap. I used a Center Force. Here's a part # for a clutch pilot tool p/n 2500-fb-8 24 splines (0.990) spline OD Pilot OD 0.578 Hope this helps.
