Skip, The window below the metal bar can-will slide down the inside of the door for an open window. Everything above the metal bar is part of the top. I like the sound of it, its still loud. The C-B-E will work with my top, I can fold it into t-tops. Something I should have done yesterday.. Steve

I, unlike Skip, had the top on. I went to the local car wash and gave it the much needed bath. Then went for a run to see if the header -sidepipe would fall off. It didn't. Then stopped off at the local state park for a smoke and a mens room trip. Then drove off to my back road trip. What a great day.

Drive the S1 more !!!! Should be a bit faster now that I added lightness to myself...

Stu, My old header was Jet-Hot coated 10 years ago, if it's prepared correctly it last a long time. As Karl said, Hackensack is alot closer than coming down my way.

Hi John, I'll take you up on that offer. This tuner had great answers to my questions, and he showed me how he is going to tune it real time and then burn then burn the eprom. This guy is a programer by trade and seems to really know his craft. Lets pass the buck, and see how it goes. I think you have my address ?? Happy New Friend, Steve

Cone Engineering and Megs Engineering sell what is called a Swege Formed Collector. So I welded the travel piece with the angle to the collector ( Post # 5), and then put a tiger paw on my grinder and knocked down the weld flush. Then I polished it. So there's no weld showing, looks nice and clean I did the same on the 4 into 1.

Skip, Sounds alot tamer than the old one, and no rattles. We had some snow today, so it never left the garage. Thanks for your help !!!! IHCKB2, I used the same mounting tab on the S1, which did not match up with the muffler. So I cut the hanger off the muffler( it was at the tailpipe), and moved it onto the body of the muffer.I will be happy to take photo's of what I did and post them for you.I also found a good place for collectors and pipe,02 bungs if you need parts.

Sounds like we're losing sight of the original post. There's more to this LOG than just the track event. And if someone is going to have track events in 2013, start a new tread and tell us alittle about who you are and what you have planned.
