  1. BRG with Yellow sleeves... Holding out for this edition. m
  2. You guys are Hard :flag: m
  3. Mangoletsi sp? They make side draft manifolds for various engines, and have two lengths (DCOE apps) for the Zetec head. I bought one from Burtons in the UK several years ago. Has a lot of meat on it for porting/sculpting exercises . m
  4. The Builder should have used a miata with a 5.0 Conversion. :leaving: m
  5. I watched the car skid upside down, just barely passing the "broomstick test" and it hit home for me. That machine is way more crash resistant than my Birkin. I'm starting a rollcage fund even though it is not an aesthetic improvement. m
  6. I did not see the movie, but I was using se7en as a user name on some automotive forum around the time that the movie was released. Another poster was punking me over my user name... He did not comprehend as his frame of reference was this movie (about vampires ? maybe?) m
  7. Good Luck! Happy Trails! m
  8. Nice Vids. I notice that Tom had to do a Ninja throttle lift so the Bugg could make it past. :jester: You can see that the Bugg tried so hard that it was close to out braking itself on corner entry. :leaving: m
  9. Duane. They arrived Yesterday PM. Thanks Much. m ps. Your inbox is full.
  10. I was wondering which direction the company was going to follow. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry/alpine-berlinette-be-developed-caterham-and-renault m

    RIP Dad

Condolences to you and Family. m
  12. Those are what I'm looking for. $$+ Shipping? m
  13. My Birkin has the same issue with fueling. It has no restrictor. I discovered that if the filler nozzle was inserted so that less than 4" into the pipe, fueling was less likely to be interrupted by the pump auto shut off. Still, one has to be careful with the shallow insertion. m
  14. Yes Please. I'll take them if you find them. Birkin za may have some but they aren't the most spritely in response... unless it is critcism:jester: The correct ones will have the word "DZUS" on the mounting plinth. m
  15. I lost one. Another one had failing rivets. I only need one, but would like to have a spare. Cheers. m
  16. I'm looking for the exact style of latch found on the 2001 year Birkin. They are made by Dzus, but have no part number. They have the square lock button on the center of the flip lever. cheers. m
  17. Projects and distractions. :iagree: Be careful, and drive it like you're in a 7. m
  18. Chapman was correct. More Proof of the Troof.:hat: Shed a little weight and you win by a ****hair. m
  19. I have had no trouble... yet, with the electrics on the Birkin but I went to the battery + for the accessory power. I have a switch to silence the V1, and it is fused. m
  20. Oh Yeah? I was fueling the Birkin one day and this lady yells across the forecourt " I wanna ride in your car!!" I looked up at her, looked down at the cock pit, and wondered where the shift lever would go if I was batty enough to say "sure". :jester: m
  21. That's a girly Jeep. I'd avoid that woman. :hat: m
  22. Seeing as you live in France, perhaps you should be wearing your high visibility jacket so that you can be seen. I know that you have at least one. :jester: m
  23. I'd go to the local tyre outfitter. They have inner tubes. You can then make as many as you'd wish. m
  24. What are the odds of one or both drivers leaving the team at the end of the season? I don't pay close attention to F1, but Button seems to be having a bad season, and that is not counting the consistent Sabotage Shenanigans of the pit crews:jester: m
  25. It probably is fully functional. If it has wiring coming off it, it works and is your immobilizer system. The Cat steering rack is physically different than that of a Focus. Having the induction ring sited like it was on the Focus would probably interfere with thighs and knees of larger framed owners. It would fail MOT in the UK. They have placed it close enough that the key is sensed, but out of the way of human appendages. m
