  5. Found some threads, but most had a track flavour. I have 13 inch wheels with street 185 profile tires. What is a recommended tire pressure?
  6. each page is its own image...search for the other pages on his flikr site
  7. Wicked stealth colour combo. It looks like something 007 would jump into. You just need a set of .50 cal machine guns to pop out of the hood. REALLY NICE!
  8. OMG - I hate you folks in the West! I dream of driving in your neck of the woods. I remember driving from Calgary to Jasper and back in a rental car and all I could think was, if only I was on a motorcycle...now I want to get out there in my 7!
  9. I have a mismatched set of foam covers on my carbs. I have four Weber trumpets on a Ford crossflow. Just curious where folks have sourced foam covers from.
  10. I'd bein for one
  11. I'm thinking of changing to cycles from clam...just curious on the reasons why you are doing the reverse swap?
  12. Really cool looking intake manifold from a Corvette engined Iso Daytona I just had a vision of a paired linked crossflows
  13. Hope this does not end up hurting Caterham corp.
  14. Busa, anyone that straps into a 4 or 5 point harness in a super 7 must know they are about to risk life and limb to some degree. I think that passenger is a dufus.
  15. Al, any relation to Charles Navarro? He is a well known engine guy within the 911 camp
  16. It was out near Ancaster
  17. I have a new personal mission. If I'm just out driving around and somebody expresses an interest in the car to the point where they either know what it is or they express a desire to own one some day, I'm going to offer them a ride. I did it yesterday to a young guy at a coffee shop in western ontario. He was over 200 lbs so it was a tough fit, but I think I gave him an experience that will stick for a LONG TIME. Its fun to hear a stranger laugh out loud. Just 5 minutes of my time to spread the passion.

  19. Funny story....took my Mom for a drive. She is a very nervous passenger (76 years old). Anyways, she sees my helmet in the passenger well. I tell her that that is for the highway, but that we are just going around the block. I go in for a pee and when I come back out she is holding a white styrofoam bike helmet. I told her; "thats not going to help if we crash, Mom!" Anyways, we had a very slow, very short drive and she loves it. Old lady neighbor looked at the car and told me she used to own an Allard. This car brings out old memories for folks.
  20. thanks. I really need ear protection. even with ear plugs I feel like I was at a stones concert last night (minus the hang over). Twobone was the nickname of one of my dead dogs(Hunter). She was never satisfied with one rawhide bone. She used to steal my other dogs (Montana) treat and walk around with two bones, tail-a-wagging. Its a weird online handle, but its stuck.
  21. Goes well with my Green 7? http://www.enfieldmotorcycles.ca/green-with-silver-stripe/?id=747
  22. Used earplugs today on the windy roads, worked great. Added a helmet for the 1 hour 80mph freeway cruise home. Really helped me get back home safe.
  23. I like this one. The owner was a nice guy and relished the weird coolness that comes with owning a "screaming chicken". It was a very cool retro car. A LOWBROW time piece. My son had a big grin while sitting in the black velour back seat when the owner stomped on the go pedal (454 big block fun).
  24. Can your buddy hook me up? Its a lot of complex curves, would I be better to paint it?
