    Well . . . .

    . . . . that was ugly!
  2. That's simply awesome! :hurray: . . . . .
  3. I also used a C6 Corvette dipstick, but I had to bend the tube and cut the top of the handle to get it to fit. Works very well with my pan (LS1 F body pan). See photo in link: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=26669
  4. Gale, My bad. I did remember the LS7 after I posted (can't edit from the Bat phone). However, I do believe all the LS3 crate variants come standard with the flex plate.
  5. I think a flex plate is standard issue on all LS crate engines.
  6. That sure is ah purty motor!
  7. . . . . and editing and editing and editing.
  8. I was in the Dallas area for five days back in January and attempted to look at this car (the pieces), but I couldn't get the owner to take the time to show it to me. I have to wonder if this is a serious/motivated seller. Here's the original thread from back in Jan on the locost forum: http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=16047
  9. . . . . . the world's fastest Kia Sportage? Ran across this in Dallas a couple of days ago and couldn't resist. . . . . . . .
  10. Mike, You already have a road bike thinning device; it's called a Storker. :jester:
  11. That is impressive!!!!
  12. Something else that will help the integrity of the radiator mounting tabs is to have them welded across the front of the tab, such as this: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=6888 Welding the tab across the front will help prevent minor flexing during vibration and thus greatly reduce the possibility of inviting unwanted pin holes.
  13. Aaah . . . . Grazie!
  14. The Jethro Rotary . . . Gotta love it.
  15. I want one.
  16. z, Nice to see an update . . . just knotch the hood, watch the wheelies and avoid those low flying 2x4's. x . . . . . .
  17. Corrected the first post. This shouuld have been the third video:
  18. jevs, Congratulations! Looking forward to following your build.
  19. Exactly!!!
  20. wemtd, The Strorker should be faster. For every action, there is an equal and opposite bla, bla, bla. If the pistons are aligned horizontally with the longitudinal axis bla, bla, bla. And they are propelled rearward during the power stroke, it should propel the Storker forward at a high rate of bla, bla, bla.
  21. My bad on the last two videos. Should have been three different videos.
  22. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet . . . . perhaps? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJSLDq7MkhQ
  23. Well, I've learned a new word tonight . . . Rzeppa. I can't pronounce it, but I can spell it and I know what it does. Very educational. :jester:
  24. Hey, Steve, Dad and I had a fanstastic time! I do hope to do NJMP again next year if all works out. I'll definitely tell him you said hello. Can hardly wait to see what Croc comes up with, video-wise that is.
