When I had my alfa there were three starters available for it, Lucas, Marelli, and Bosch. The first was guranteed to fail after a very short time, the second lasted a bit longer, and if you didn't want to have to push most of the time you got the third. I was a poor student in San Francisco so I parked on hills a lot.

I am convinced that PA and a couple of other northern states do not fix pot holes they just wait till you have memorized where they are then they MOVE them.

When I worked in Philly I stoped driving the Porsche in town for fear it wouild get lost in a pot hole.

I would make a couple of suggestions. The first thin g I did was replace the band and have the watchmaker look inside, he said the mech was of mediuim quality and that there was no water resistance. I would suggest a metal band and a minimal waterproofing.

My bad looking at the lack of triangulation and the round tube it looked like the RH mistook the RM.

I live in a relativly poor area and you seldom hear about breakins. There are a lot of hunters here and most homes have several guns. Bottom line If you break into a house around here you will probably get shot, it is a deterent that works. My place you will get chewed on by the dogs then shot. There is a trick to driving in the NE you have to remember that they don't fix the roads they simply move the pot holes just about the time you think you have memorized where they are. I missed a turnoff the LIE leaving the area and wound up in downtown NYC, I was glad I was driving a Z71 Silverado those roads are worse than the dirt road up to my Mt property. While working in RI I heard all the excuses abouit the weather being the cause of the bad roads (I95) but it was funny that the road was good at the MA state line, the bad weather must stop there.
