  1. You read my mind - seats are next! I'm undecided on the type and when when they'll go in. Birkin seats do stink - I've had more comfortable trips bouncing around in the back of 5-ton cargo truck.
  2. I'm not in the least embarrassed to tell others that my Birkin is a clone, replica, or kit car.
  3. Thanks for the compliments guys!
  4. I like the proposal, but imagine that it will be hard to carry out successfully as many on public assistance also have children who must be fed and clothed.
  5. Aerial phallic humor is always good for a laugh.
  6. The guy was probably just showering up after swimming at the local pool or something. Very funny video though.
  7. Getting it into the air was a true technical feat of genius... http://www.topgear.com/uk/video-search?Phrase=shuttle&Urn=space-robin
  8. Croc (Mike), Your Superlight is absolutely stunning --congrats! Mike
  9. They are used to program the Stack and view different information layers on the dash (e.g. fuel level, odometer, lap times, etc...)

  11. Skip: No key - just a key fob that arms/disarms the security. Slomove: I drive the car as much as I can. With two young kids, I am usually stuck driving my Corolla!
  12. Wiring harness project is complete! I still must calibrate my Stack dash and fix a few minor things, but I am pleased with the results. I like the push button start and not having an ignition key. http://i53.tinypic.com/2mdksg1.jpg http://i55.tinypic.com/8wa25e.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/vo4f11.jpg
  13. Let me know when you're out this way. Hopefully I'll have my Birkin back on the road by then. Moving to Denver at the end of the month, so I should be able to reconnect with many of my Lotus brethern living up north. I finally pulled my Elise out of the garage after many months in storage. I'm thinking hard about driving it to work tomorrow.
  14. Are points added or subtracted for tagging someone on the sidelines?
  15. ISIS install going well; however, I have a few extra wires. In fact, the three sets of bundled input wires are un-needed. At some point when I'm triple sure that I will not need them, I plan to cut them off or pull them out of the connectors. The output wires to the system are still backordered. Once I get those and barring any screwups, my Birkin ought to be up and running in short order. http://i51.tinypic.com/15hzwhj.jpg
  16. Hank, I hope you and Tom can get a deal worked out. I'm considering asking Tom to make one for my kids. Mike
