  1. My audio is Webers on the right channel and a small Magnaflow on the left channel. The volume is controlled by my right foot!!!
  2. That's great. Your car's a press fit, maybe you don't need any tie downs, just close the door 8-)
  3. I do love me the carbon fiber stuff! But I have to wonder how reliable that is going to be.
  4. I'm a member of the "no spare club" too. haven't had a flat yet. Interesting to hear your experiences.
  5. http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/caterham-roadsport-125-monaco-revealed?ref=nf I think it's better than the Lambretta (although I love the Quadraphenia video) I like the aluminum (of course) No spare, are they using runflats? It's parked with the right front wheel against a wall. Are they saving weight (cost) on the handbrake too?
  6. I got one of these and I love it. http://www.mirrorsforsevens.com/ It's still handy to have a mirror on the drivers side to fill in the blind spot my big head causes.
  7. Dave. That looks great. Can you tell us a little about what you used to polish it?
  8. How bad are they dragging? Can you feel them stop the car when you have your foot off the brakes?
  9. I'm very interested!!
  10. It's ragged OK. But could be fun with that motor. I wonder what the "buy it now" is?
  11. I'm thinking of trading in my 14x6's for some 13x7 Panasports and using the 225x13 888. I've raced on the 888's they are a little quicker than the shaved RA1's. But slower than the Hoosier. They are a little stiffer abd require less camber (could be good for a street car) They wear out a little quicker than the RA1 as well. But I still think they are option for the street.
  12. I wonder where and when he's going to be in Los Angeles?
  13. Just stumbled across this: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=1&zenid=c8oc1vnv6lhqasg2akt8q6q4n7 They have loads of good stuff for Sevens.
  14. I finally got the car of my dreams November last year. I love driving it through the canyons here in Southern California. It's everything I thought it would be and more! What I wasn't prepared for is the amount of positive attention it gets. It's so unique and open people have no problem rolling down their windows and talking to me about the car.
  15. Do you know what the HC, CO and NOX limits are? Do you know what the readings are on your car? Also while a cat will clean up the emissions, I'm concerned about that Cortina motor on Webers creating so much pollutants that the converter will have a heart attack trying to make it clean 8-) Also, is this a one shot deal or do you have to do this every year or two?
  16. How about slapping some numbers and various decals on it. Call it a racecar to get it in. Then registering it as a kit car once it's here? Probably not legal either. Just a thought.
  17. I remember my dad explaining why he chose the R.A.F. 1/ He didn't think he could shoot another person if they were face to face. In a bomber you are just dropping bombs, you don't see who you're killing. 2/ Pilots could sleep in their own beds. 3/ He couldn't float and was too claustrophobic to be in a sub.
  18. Good looking show, a real variety of cars. My dad flew Lancasters, I believe there are only two flying today. I can't get my head around how it must have felt to be young and flying this great plane! And knowing it's 50-50 that you won't return! Check out this article on BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7404052.stm
  19. That's great!! I'm a huge Who fan. The Lambretta/Quadraphenia mix is great. It's the best of both worlds. I saw that car in the showroom at Caterham. I must say I was not impressed. But now I see it in a different context. Thanks for sharing
  20. That would be great IF it happens........... Am I the only one who will be surprised if this happens?
  21. Does anyone have the Fram # for the oil filter on a standard 1700 Crossflow? Thanks in advance
  22. It just amazes me that these electric cars don't get tangled up in the extension cords!!!
  23. The real good news is: The car didn't "fire up" That would have been a disaster!!
  24. Where did you get the hoses from?
