  1. i didn't phrase that post correctly. that thread has a trailer in budget for Roman. As for Norm's trailer, i assume it will stay with the 7 forever, so i have nothing of it ever leaving Norm's ownership.
  2. roman- http://sccaforums.com/forums/thread/362605.aspx Those of us who have seen Norm B.'s trailer are throughly impressed.
  3. The tillets are much lighter than the S-Type seats. 7-10 lbs would be a fair guess.
  4. Thats the missing piece. i had heard Marcus Grunholm was participating in Pike's Peak this year. yup... 800 hp AWD Ford FIESTA. damn you Europe!
  5. Call Tony V. I beleive u have an s3 chasis. CatUK is probably the cheapest, including CatUS.
  6. i'll check my Prisoner wheels tomorrow evening, but i'm pretty sure the offset in in the +15 vicinity.
  7. aweseme and congrats. now go burn some petrol at every fine day.
  8. i tried to get a set of wileys order last year, but my prescription is too strong in one eye. same issue with a pair of oakleys with ballistic lenses. occasionaly with a helmet. with a windscreen t is not a big issue for me, especially with teh doors on.
  9. find Jeff underwood's vids from his BEC 7. total awesomess. R1Seven iirc?
  10. that thread was awesome. Del Long shows up! BM for a se7en that is a BEC. It must obey all rules of D/E Mod though. So no aero allowances or off to A mod. CS is for LOTUS 7/7A ( i think maxed out at 1.0L) is CS, then ASP, and to DP (7/7A and Super 7 up to 1.5L). I have 2009 Solo regs on my desk waiting to go into the region's equipment trailer. were stuck with the cool kids in modified
  11. depending on car status i may be in.
  12. Time Attack would be a nice color, but i still think u would need the accent color on some part of the body for it realluy to work well.
  13. i'd agree with this too. The only other color on your car Roman is the aluminium from the windscreen and rollbar. if add another accent color to the body of the car, a differnt color could work accordingly.
  14. i went to teh site back in '02. 6 acres is more than plenty. 30-35 would really be the limit of justification regarding the splat pattern area.
  15. we'll get this ditch filled in no time.
  16. nearly bought a p1800 wagon 6 years ago after a friend picked up a convertible. in all honesty it a fortuatous decision. much rather have my impreza wagon and 7 than a 40 p1800 and miata. I hope that this new p1800 car does get off the ground and to US dealers!
  17. the timing sounds right. do you have any favorite roads?
  18. conditional congrats, i guess? hope the accumulated knowledge of getting thru the NJDMV makes the processes minimally inconvienent.
  19. Going to bail on this event this go around.
  20. yah, the Ebrahimi Ecomony Mode fairy will visit GM owning households in the middle of the night and pull their spark plug wires.
  21. jack- has the lightened flywheel arrived yet? before u install it, can u mark where it needs to be altered to properly fit the Zetec's starter and/or T9? Also Caterham specifically mentions not to use anything but a GL4 in their manual.
  22. the standard caterham seats have no side bolstering. the outside out the car and the transmission tunnel. you would not like them by themselves compared to the STi v8/9 usdm and EVO seats. Find a 7 that has and be driven in them so u can see the space and feel the need that most use harnesses as well. The Tillets are on par with a narrow waist Sparco or Recaro fixec back. Though they are remarkably comfortable.
  23. What about a strap that hangs from the roll bar? do u still have range of motion that the healthy shoulder can lift u with that aid?
