  1. Yay!!! http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l294/nivaguy/97AF0395-8864-46EF-8DCC-F7840B89842A_zpsbzpr70qr.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l294/nivaguy/0A61EE7D-23C5-4CB4-B5F0-BFC2D0CD28E9_zps8m3sgpii.jpg Edit: Well I finally got the electrics I needed for the beast. I had to scour my hobby bins for the speed controller, and found a sweet Copperhead 11 turn motor for the car. It will boogey with that motor. I had to by a new charger and Lipo battery for it though. The Lipo is the only size that would fit and because this is the first Lipo I have owned, a balancing charger was needed. The fit for the electrics is a bit tight. The space under the main chassis topper is minimal. I'll have to carve away some of the nonessential plastic to make it all fit. Maybe I'll find a small brushless setup later, but for now the old electronic speed controller and Copperhead will do. No luck finding the clear body for it unfortunately. I do have a couple ideas for cycle fenders for it, but may not waste time with it until I find the clear body and do the car up as I want the real one.
  2. I love it. It looks the part and should function really well. Great job.
  3. That will be perfect. Lol
  4. The chargers themselves should be fine with the power we have in North America 120 VAC as opposed to 100 VAC in Japan. The charger will only use what it needs. There is a huge selection of smaller electronics available. There are significantly smaller scales of RC that have the tiny electronics. I plan on going Brushless with mine. It should give you remarkable speed and rub time. Inquire about it at your local hobby stop.
  5. I already have the helmet for auto cross, and I have always thought about that paind scheme. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l294/nivaguy/IMG_1842_zps0c223974.jpg
  6. There are plenty of online distributors. Tower hobbies, pm Hobbycraft and others. I prefer supporting my local shops. Easier to get what you need and what will fit the first time around. Mine just shipped and I can't wait to see it. I also asked Banzai about the clear bodies and they said they will inquire about it. I see a flying tiger paint job and cycle fenders in my near future. Lol
  7. The Tattoo yes, the tattooist maybe not.
  8. From the Yokomo website, here is an order sheet with many of the parts and numbers on it. http://www.teamyokomo.com/news/order_sheet/14/140128_yrs_parts.pdf I would also like a clear body for it, but got the yellow. The clamshells come detached on the body only. I figure that it would be relatively easy to make some cycle fenders.
  9. Dammit! It's Back ordered.
  10. Hi Warren, I'm sorry that I haven't got back to you yet on the emails you sent me. Thank you very much for the shots of the bumper setup. I sent them over to my welder for reverence, and he's confident with the new images that we can get the bumper done quickly. I really appreciate the effort you threw in to help me out. Duane
  11. Mine still hasn't shipped yet! I'm excited to see this kit.
  12. ....and the result?
  13. It's actually only $51 and change (Canadian) for insured and tracked delivery. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l294/nivaguy/2F288281-F260-4B15-B8A4-DEC9BA5495DB_zpsezrymndw.jpg
  14. I've always liked to have an RC of my current cars, and have been in RC since I was 12 years old. When I sold the Subaru Race car, I sold the RC copy as well. I first saw this car on a prototyping site for "upcoming" Yokomo projects and knew I'd be getting one the minute I saw it. With that I'm off to the interwebs, my birthday is right away.
  15. Hi Team, as stated, I'm looking to contact the owner of this car from Nova Scotia. I'm looking for some insight on the bumpers. Sorry to the owner of the picture for posting without permission, but I only know the car by the photo. I'll remove when I'm able to make contact. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l294/nivaguy/38B455C6-8989-432C-A956-2EFB794B4B39_zpsqdr9afbo.jpg
  16. Arm, shoulder, chest, shoulderblade. :hurray:
  17. Yup, that's her. Extra reason to not look like a big baby in front of her. lol.
  18. Definitely easy on the eyes. Is she the one you got your tattoo from, or have you photographed her before?
  19. Explains what?
  20. Immaculate Concept. Niki Nix will be doing the Tattoo.
  21. Funny enough, I don't even know. I went to the artist at the beginning of the month and told her what I wanted, but really only in subject matter. Design size and colour I'm leaving up to her. She was very surprised I was giving her so much creative freedom for my first tattoo. I should see the rough design sketch in a couple days. To answer the question, I gave her my arm, shoulder, chest and shoulder blade if she wanted. What she decides to use is up to her.
  22. Looks new! I'm a bit nervous. I've never got one before, and I gave her a tonne of room to work with. (arm, shoulder, shoulder blade, and chest) I just hope I'm not the the whimpering dude tattooists tell stories of. lol
  23. I'm open to just about anywhere. There are plenty of good pubs in Walden, Shawnessy, and up into the Avenida area. I'm a big fan of the Shark club at Deerfoot Meadows. Nope, not the mustache. I would hope it wouldnt take three sittings for it to be completed either. lol My first sitting is next Friday.
  24. For the tattoo?
  25. Please not the 15th. I have my final Tattoo sitting that day.
