  1. Importing from the States is a great option - I search the listings all the time. Problem is that cars 15 years and older are usually not the higher performance models - if that matters to you. It is getting closer though. I will probably buy a Superlight R soon as the are getting old enough now. I searched for just the right Caterham for around 5 years and then 2 years ago bought my Wesfield as I got tired of waiting.
  2. Takes lots of patience! Not many for sale up here.
  3. Maybe he will keep relisting it for 2 more years!
  4. Would somebody please buy this car and put me out of my misery!!!
  5. I don't even know what that event is?
  6. "Bring it in as a track car, flip the plates with yours and who would know? The only problem, you might be driving under insured depending on the value of your current Seven ." Hey Andy, if you do this and give it your vin I will gladly purchase the car from you and pay you an extra couple thousand! Ron
  7. ....that nobody south of the border has purchased this car: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-Caterham-SuperLight-R-Caterham-SuperLight-R450-Carbon-Fiber-Leather-3-Piece-Wheels-/111359974130?forcerrptr=true&hash=item19ed925af2&item=111359974130&pt=US_Cars_Trucks If it was 2 years older - to be legal to import to Canada - I would probably have it in my garage all ready!
  8. ...more info and pics to follow hopefully?
  9. Tim Hudak and the PC Party vow to scrap this ridiculous money grab if elected next month.....keep this in mind as you consider your vote!
  10. Where is "there"?
  11. Wow - So much for an inexpensive car that you can build youself! I guess they have a Formula 1 team to fund now.
  12. There it was... gone!
  13. Every time they resist it the price has dropped. I think it started at $74,000
  14. We won Eh!
  15. Has anybody out west seen or know the whereabouts of a yellow S1 that was sold from a used car dealer around 5 years ago? I seem to remember it being in BC off the mainland. Thanks, Ron.
  16. Teased again with another S-1. The lack of title does not make it harder to import to Canada - the fact that it is not 15 years old yet does! I have wanted a Superformance S-1 for years but since there are only 3 in Canada makes it tough. Funny thing is I have had a chance to buy 2 of the 3 here. The cream and red one was priced very high from Superformance Canada years ago so I passed although I did get to sit in it a couple years later at a British car show. And a yellow one was for sale out west about 5 years ago. They started out asking $42,000 and by time they had lowered the price to a more reasonable $29,000 I had all ready purchased my 98 Viper GTS. I guess I will have to wait until they are 15 years old to add one to my garage! Ron.
  17. I live a couple streets away from there, too bad you moved!
  18. Hi Andy, welcome to the group. I am in West Hill - not many 7's in the east end of the city unfortunately. Where is this meet held? Ron.
  19. It's strange, there will be 20-30 7's at the show and only around 4-5 people from this area are on this forum. Most Canadian members are out west it seems.
  20. One more as a posting experiment: http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/th_null-2.jpg
