  1. My AZ-1 has the same engine, just mid engine instead of front, and yes the car is a blast to drive!
  2. I can't import it to Canada but at that price it is worth buying and leaving in the States so I have a "fun" car to drive when we are there!
  3. Anybody want to buy a donor? I have a car with a Suzuki 660cc 3 cylinder turbo! http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/d3b5911a826ad5582a8bbd1f0c1ed4ab.jpg

Welcome! Where in Toronto are you? I am in West Hill. Ron.
  5. In a way I'm glad that most of these great cars can't be imported to Canada, otherwise I'd be in trouble!
  6. There have been quite a few recently on ebay.
  7. I think it is 15 years to be RIV exempt not 25. Good luck trying to get it removed, they are thinking of raising it to 25 to match the States.
  8. I saw that S4 Lotus. Watched it race and saw it up close in the paddock area.
  9. Anybody go to it? I was there on Saturday. http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/null-14.jpg http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/null-15.jpg
  10. I take it you are driving in from Mississauga for this cruise?
  11. Are we the only ones? Should we hold the first meeting at your place or mine? Lol.
  12. Hey Gale, what tire pressure are you running with your R888's?
  13. It is definately an oversteer issue. I will have to try and adjust the setup to get things more even. That is if I can stop driving long enough to work on it! Thanks for the input. Ron.
  14. Any 7 owners in the Toronto - Durham Region, or North of the City area? I know there are some in the west - Mississauga area, but any closer to me? Ron.
  15. A week later and can't stop driving this little bugger now! Have been out all day today. Started out this morning with a heavy jacket, touque and leather gloves, and again this afternoon when it warmed up. Have to get used to sliding it in the corners. It grips right to the edge and then lets go - not like with the old tires where it was more gradual.
  16. Me or the car? Lol. Not in the rear, but I had to "massage" the stays for the front cycle fenders a bit because the tires were rubbing on them.
  17. All done. What a difference! Car is much smoother and quieter on the road now. Hooks up and corners like it was meant to. The stones flying off the tires at speed make a great ping ping sound. My 98 Viper has Kumho V700 tires so I am used to the "rolling stones". Here are some pics: http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/th_null-4.jpg Difference in width: http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/th_null-1.jpg Stance looks great: http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/th_null-2.jpg http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/th_null-3.jpg Anybody thinking of upgrading their old tires should listen to Arnold's line: DO IT NOW!
  18. So I did not spell Kumho correctly - does not matter, they are coming off anyways!
  19. Finally getting new rubber Saturday for my Westfield. It had 185/75-13 all season Kuhmo's on it. Going to 205/60-13 Toyo Proxes R888. Old tires were 460 treadwear. R888's are 100 - should hug the road a little better! http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/null.jpg
  20. If your S1 could be imported to Canada it would be in my garage all ready!
  21. Are the sneakers in the boot included? Lol.
  22. They need to something in F1 to make it exciting again. Man has it ever been boring for the last few years.
  23. Wow, drinking on a weeknight - lol. My car is a 1988 pre-lit.
  24. Thank you for the responses so far! Any comments on these: http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=11815 As far as wide track, I have all season tires on it now, so if I go with the wide track setup and lose some handling, I will gain it back when I put some Avons or Toyo R888s on it! I don't like the narrow stance that my car has.
