  1. I do all my postings from iPad or iPhone also - don't even use my computer anymore. I wish this forum would allow you to edit your posts from these devices!
  2. Yes my car is pre-lit. Here is one more pic with the wheel turned, shows better. http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/th_6C7FB59A-4242-4D52-874A-1BBC862F9DB3-125-00000000DF138F09.jpg Since I am going to change to wide track, would it be beneficial to change other front end components at the same time - uprights, hubs, etc.? To a more modern setup. Thanks, Ron.
  3. 2 more pics: http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/EB25557A-C50B-4C73-A094-EBE20FB9511B-2269-000000E8D86A7FDD.jpg http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/6EBBEF5A-2213-4257-BD09-DCD616DFC173-2269-000000E8DEF527A2.jpg
  4. I have a 1988 Westfield SE. Here is a pic of the front suspension. Is it standard Cortina? I want to add the Westfield wide track, will it bolt right in? http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/DF5D20EA-6CC6-40CE-ACF7-81FD59E36C0B-2269-000000E8D1095F77.jpg Thanks, Ron.
  5. Soft Bits here. Great for cool Canadian fall drives! http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/e896524005e455e3d55ad97184f80700.jpg
  6. Photobucket app. Works great!
  7. I have had 2 Europas. 1970 S2 and a 1974 Twin Cam Special 5 speed. Power and handling is better on the newer ones but I prefer the more reclined seating position on the older ones. Will definately buy another Europa in the future! Ron.
  8. It's a 1994. See the pic of the vin tag. Great engine. I have a Marcos Mantula with the 3.9l Rover V8.
  9. Mazda- "I'm shocked! The beginning of the show is used in an iron maiden song ("Run to the Hills", I think)..the soundtrack of our generation x youths." Was not Run to the hills, the song is called the Prisoner. Great song!
  10. Jim was the importer for Robinhood 7s - what a nightmare that was...trust me I know! That was the stainless round tube chassis that he had. There was also a monocoque chassis. Ron.
  11. Was out today. Nice to see the sun! First time in over a week. Was about 4 degrees celcius in Toronto.
  12. Mmmmm, belt dressing.....sorry had a Homer Simpson moment!
  13. I never post hp numbers of my cars unless they have been verified on a dyno. Bottom end of these 2.4l motors is great right from the factory. Just have to get them to breathe better. Like I said, daily driver, 25 pounds of boost, 60,000 miles now and no issues - except it wears out front bearings often! Ps. I also have a 1998 Viper - Paxton supercharged and a few other goodies - 640 hp and 640 torque at the wheels - but you will probably say bs on that one too?
  14. Yes a bigger turbo, and other things. My daily driver is a 2004 SRT-4. Motor is 2.4l turbo. They were 230 hp from factory - mine is now 360 hp at the wheels, so over 400 at the motor. Still drives like stock until the turbo spools up. Thats one advantage of a turbo over a built n/a motor.
  15. Soon the motors will be the same as the one in my AZ-1. 660cc turbo. http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/th_9273c9da.jpg
  16. I personally use Royal Purple in the tranny and diffs in all my cars. Never any issues and they all shift super smooth. Ron.
  17. Thanks for the info. I feel a little more confident now!
  18. So back to the original question, will it fit? Anybody have a Westfield and a Caterham?
  19. I would rather have an unpainted one so go ahead and sell it. Thank you for the offer though.
  20. Can you post a pic of it? I may take you up on the offer. Thanks, Ron.
  21. Not a bbq question - well, not really. Will a Caterham grill fit a Westfield nose cone? I want to get rid of my bbq grill and install one like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Caterham-JPE-Nose-Cone-Grill-7-Logo-/271023941239?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1a492677 My Westfield is not the wide body, it is the S3 size. Thanks, Ron
  22. Can import a kit car to Canada once it has been registered for at least 15 years.
  23. If I'm not mistaken, a car cannot be imported to the States until it is has been registered for at least 25 years.
  24. What happened to the listing?
  25. Yeah, because parts are so hard to get online.
