XR4Bill Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I was just sent this today. Hope this link works, enjoy. Bill
Taber10 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Great video--thanks for posting. Only things I see in common with my Cat and my driving style: Momo steering wheel and same number of louvers in the bonnet! Taber
Paul Hill Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Are we THAT spoiled? Or do they seem desperate for track time? That's quite a goat path.....
xcarguy Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Paul, We are spoiled with our big, wide tracks. Every time I watch a video of a Seven running a narrow course, 'what ifs' run amuck in my mind.
Paul Hill Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I hear ya Shane.... My sons ran kart tracks that were better, even the worst were safer than that one. Mind you, there are many that would question the sanity of running 140+ on the backstretch at Daytona in a shifter kart.
yellowss7 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) You mean like this???? :ack::ack::ack::ack: http://youtu.be/8FE_N7oIPvc Edited December 5, 2014 by yellowss7
xcarguy Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Tom, that's exactly the kind of insane 'run amuck' stuff I'm talking about (insert cringing smilie here 😁 ).
Croc Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Yeah but like me he stabbed his finger in failing first attempt to thread the needle!
The Stig Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Here's a video from my home hillclimb course in UK. This is a great time for this course. In context, my best with full race Crossflow seven was 44 seconds in a road car class. If you don't like trees and gates, this is not for you!
subtlez28 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Those road kind of look like the golf cart paths on golf courses... I have an idea!
xcarguy Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Those road kind of look like the golf cart paths on golf courses... I have an idea! Augusta Time Trails? :smilielol5:
Paul Hill Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Would be much more "sporting" if we could combine 2 major events.... Hey....maybe we could offer our services as caddies, supplying our own carts of course! New course records could be measured in time rather than strokes?
