Meet Stella, that red cutie on the back row. She's a 2016 Soul Red Miata Club edition with 6 M/T and an attitude. I've already added a sweeter, louder exhaust and there are other enhancements in the works in the near future.

Here's a better look along side a friend's GT version.

Skip,

All those cars, and I'm not there to help you srive them…that's wrong on so many levels. :)

If srive them means taking a flyer off the track, its a good thing you aren't here helping me drive them. :D

Sorry, its too early and I haven't had my coffee, I just couldn't resist it, the  made me do it.

I hated the new Miata ND in the photos, it seemed like an Z3 wannabe. Then I saw one at the dealership recently and liked it much more in person. I sat in it and was surprised that it really doesn't seem to have any more room than my '93 and '94 did. At 5'9 1/2" with the seat pushed back to the bulkhead it fit just right. But I am hardly at the 95th percentile.

Track use: Is anyone making a roll-over bar yet for it? The suspension apparently has lots of slop, is there an after-market spring kit for that yet?

Anyhow, it now is on my list of cars to fantasize about, at least mildly.

What # Miata is this that you have owned Skip, 30? (Not counting your Miata powered Caterham).

There are several NASA and SCCA compliant roll bars already available. Only one doesn't require removal of the top and one of the others has to have slots cut in the leading edge of the trunk for the rear risers. Obviously for competition only.

Several vendors already have brake upgrades and suspension packages are on the way. The cars do lean in the corners but they take a good set and once you get used to it they corner nicely.

This one requires top removal (not a factory color, the car has been wrapped):

This one requires notching the trunk but the top stays on the car.

This is #36 in a series of who knows how many more Miatas?
