I received this for my birthday earlier this month. Cool build, disappointed in the complexity, (doesn't steer, no calipers) although they got the look spot on.

I got the kit for Christmas. This morning, my wife and I broke it open, and assembled it. All told, it took us about 5 hours, including a much-needed lunch break. The Lego instructions were pretty good, and we had more than enough parts. (If I were building an actual Caterham, I'd be very worried about the amount of spare pieces we had left over.)

Let me know if anybody needs spare pieces...

For authenticity you now need to take it apart, pull the engine and reinstall a few times.

Then add some upgrades.

I also received and built the Lego 7. I don't mind RHD since my 1:1 version is that. Now I need to get back to the RC version, which is also RHD. I guess they all will have to go through the "DRIVE THRU" backwards. :smilielol5:

Lego owners handbook -190 pages

Caterham owners handbook - 46 pages

And to be fair, the Caterham Assembly Guide is about 220 pages

Please tell us more about the RC Caterham.

It is a kit out of Japan that someone posted on the forum about 2 years ago. It is a body and chassis(including motor!) with no electronics.

Thanks. I remember that. Thought there might be something else to collect!
