johncg
I generally run 13" wheels but also have a set of 14" wheels I like to use for routine driving. Seems this size is becoming rare especially among sticky tire options. I've just about used up a set of Toyo R888 tires in 205/55-14 and 225/50-14. Sadly, Toyo no longer make the smaller front size, or I haven't been able to find them. The only option I have found is Hoosier R-7 in 205/55-14 which I'd use on all 4 corners. Any suggestions? MV8
R888R are available in several 13s and a 185-60-14 that may work for your rim width.
MoBoost
I’m running a set of 195/60R-14 Falken Azenis RT660 SL. Wear rating of 200. Not much time on them, but they throw pebbles into the car, so reasonably soft compound.

These are the size many lower powdered Caterhams came with but I've been using larger tires and also staggering.

While I don't put a lot of faith in the tread wear ratings, I am looking for tires in the 20 to 40 range if I can find them. For example, I used a set of Avon ZZR tires recently and I think they are rated at 20. These were 13" and unavailable in 14.
coffee break
I got a set of Dunlop summer tires from Tire Rack 185/60-14. The tread wear is 200 as I remember.

NSXguy
Curious what you end up going with here as I need to order new tires for my 14" panasports. I've been evaluation options and come up with similar results as you pointed above. I'm also contemplating getting some 13" wheels for more tire options. Will look to decide in the coming week and order.

Since these are my street use only tires and I live in the Pacific NW, I have going with 205/55-14 Hoosier Sports Car DOT Radial Wet H2O Tires 46115H2O from Summit. I've clearly made some trade offs here so think about whether this is the right choice for you. I run slicks for other uses (track, autox, etc)

When I have to replace the Avons on the stock 14" wheels I wouldn't hesitate to replace them with R888R's too. If you want to try them out you're more than welcome to come over to Higganum and we can swap them to your car as long as you have the 4 x 108 PCD. Anker
The R888Rs are fine for track, but not for autocross. It is near impossible to get heat into them, even with a 1 mile+ fast course. The temperatures have to be in the high 80s before they get decently warm. It is weird to have to put blankets on my tires when everybody else is spraying theirs! John B
Your post gave me the idea to get off my butt and get rid of some of the wheels I'm not using. A nice set of Minilight 13x6 & 13x7 wheels if you're interested.

I run the Yoko R888 tires now (worn out) with larger ones in the rear vs the front. The front smaller one is no longer available so I had to look for another solution.
