wdb
I'd like to find out if there are stateside parts sources for Caterham-specific items such as side doors, mirrors, windscreens, and other body parts. I'll also be looking for parts to reseal my Cortina 4-speed gearbox and big valve twincam engine. So far all I've found is overseas, with the attendant high shipping costs and duty fees. CarlB
I can recommend a transmission place. He is slow but does good work. Hopefully he will not retire on us. JohnCh
Both Beachman Racing and Rocky Mountain Caterham carry a decent selection of Caterham parts. -John

Keep in mind that Caterham parts sold in the US came from somewhere - they were shipped in from the UK, albeit in bulk instead of a single order. If you do not need Caterham (authentic) parts then try places like Summit or Pegasus for the small stuff such as mirrors. Another idea is print out the catalog from Car Builder Solutions UK and then using the item you find in the catalog, google the parts description for a stateside parts source. I have found assorted bits that way. Another source for Twin Cam and Crossflow engines and trasnmission bits: Vintage Racecar Engines, Portland, OR (iveyengines.com) Old Lotus parts can be sourced here: Home for Vintage Race Car parts (leechapmanracing.com) Suspension bits here LOTUS 7 parts Locost body parts and other assorted bits here Kinetic Vehicles
xflow7
For Ital axle parts, Skip Harris (aka MarinaMan) is a great resource: http://marinaman.org/blog/contact-us/ Having said that, it's been a number of years since I've bought anything so I can't say definitively that he's still doing business.
