Over the years I started acquiring spares of the consumables, oil filters clutch, brake pads, bearings, lots of things as I didn’t want to be stuck waiting for a part if it happened to be out of stock. Shipping is pretty quick and getting the right part is pretty reliable. Don’t sweat it. Drive it and enjoy it. PS. Tracking it is what it is meant to do. 😎 1

I did autocross years ago and think I'll start out with some local events, that's probably all the speed I need at this point in my life! Scott
yellowss7 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Never too old to get on track. I turn 71 next month and as long as I can climb in and out of my Se7ens I’ll keep doing it. It’s only a 7 hour drive up to Millville. Come join us in October for the 7s track event. 2 1

I couldn't bring myself to spend on the Caterham one. This one is from MK sportscars. https://www.mksportscars.com/products/caterham-style-series-3-s3-aero-screen-carbon and I bought the SPA F1 mirrors from Pegasus racing. I think I prefer the lines of the MK aeroscreen over the Caterham one. It looks like it fits well too.

I suspect there is variation in the MK aeroscreen since they mention that in their listing. I first found the center and mounted their carbon fiber center brace to the aeroscreen with rivets, and then worked out where the screen needed to be drilled at the ends. Then I went back and drilled the center brace for mounting to the car. I had to use some rubber u-channel on the bottom of it as they suggested and was not happy with the gaps, so I also added additional weatherstripping across the length of it to reduce the gaps between the aeroscreen and the scuttle.

Well played. Good eye! We were in London in mid-June and while my wife did other things I went to the Tate Modern. I bought those socks in the museum shop on my way out.

I had one on my 7 when delivered but was concerned about tire thrown rocks, especially if I had a passenger, the wife. Frankly it looks over the top and probably makes me look more eccentric than I actually am... but it does the job. I do not like driving with the windshield without the doors as the turbulence in the cockpit annoys me. Scott
