I'd be happy to help Martin explore the calendar concept if the "Board" decides this is worth further evaluation. Some of the above photos are amazingly powerful: I keep scrolling back to Scannon's blue Seven in the birches.

I think we could almost do a calender just devoted to Keith's car, so many of his pictures are great.

My hunch is that the potential market for a calendar is fairly respectable. We have nearly 700 members at this forum alone. I was a Seven admirer for 45 years before I finally bought one-that's a lot of calendars. We send one to Peter Egan, he mentions it in his column and we sell out:).

Of course, I know nothing about doing any of this so it may all be so just so much talk. But as people keep adding great pictures it keeps seeming like a compelling idea.

Budlite-very nice!

The Dragon "group photo" mite be a keeper too. Ever notice how almost every owner in that picture is touching/caressing their car? It says a lot about the joys of ownership!

Slngsht;

I have been attempting to upload an image for a day now. When I go through the "upload image" process, nothing seems to happen for about 30 seconds, then the chosen image cancels out.

I haver downsized the image but that had not helped.

Did something change with the loading of the new site format?

I just uploaded this one... seems to work OK.

I have been experiencing some slow load times and have opened a ticket with the hosting provider.

Perhaps, along the lines the the watch many of us purchased, a donation to charity with the calender purchase? With cool pics of nice 7's (would be nice imo to try to get a cool pic or multiple pics of each "brand". Lotus {all the series}, Caterhams, Westfields, WCM's, Birkins, Stalkers, Leitch's, S1's, Deman's, assorted Locosts, Locust's and any others that we could think of. Of course with appropriate permissions etc. So a small bit to the 7's group, a hopefully good donation to a good charity and we all get a pretty cool calender.

It's hard to pick just one "favorite", so here's a few. The first three I call "Dueling Orange Sevens" or " Almost a 7 T-Bone" The wet autocross picture is by Dale Arment, the Tail of the Dragon pic is by Killboy. The rest are some I happen to like, and might work on a calendar

Here is one of my own favorite Seven photos, with Bob's VX Evo -- the complementing colors just worked in this one:

Here's another autumn-themed photo, taken on the same "How the West was driven 2005" tour:

Bob, that's gotta be one of my favorites, just because my car is in one piece in it

I'm surprised no one has posted this one yet:

Kitcat,

Those are aspens. The photo was taken up on Independence Pass above Aspen, CO during LOG27.

Here's another one I like. I can't take credit for this photo but it turned out well.

And I have to get one in here with the orange wheels and the top up at the track.

Even nicer considering it is not stainless, but polished aluminum!

(the headlights look uneven in this shot though...)

I typed "print your own calendar" into Google. Tons of hits, lots of software to do it. We could probably find a commercial shop to do it too.

I am not sure we could use the word "Seven" in the calendar title as I think Caterham has it trade marked. We could probably say "Se7en" tho-it's not even a word:). Or we could call it "The cars of USA7s.com". I agree it should feature a shot or two of all of the many brands/makes of LiSS's.

Maybe we could get the cost of producing it (paper/printing, etc.) underwritten by Caterham USA/Bruton/Birkin, or by their respective U.S. dealers? Should be an excellent advertising "vehicle".

As far as proceeds goes, I am happy if some goes to charity, if the club doesn't need it-I just want a calendar.
