I know exactly what this man was trying to convey --- "shape up, or no food stamps are coming"

I'm pretty accurate with my assessment. He's the foodstamp president and the people he said did not play the fair game was me who work my tail to the ground. The tax money I paid last year and a year before enough to feed a bunch of lazy people for a year - white - black or rainbow does not matter....yes, my bad because I don't play a fair game.

He is a politician and like all of them, he will tell you what he thinks you want to hear if it will help get him re-elected or further his agenda. The truth is not an issue with these people.

I don't want to get into a pissing contest comparing taxes I paid (remember, I live in California) but I'm sure it's more than 95% of Americans. Some people don't realize we're currently paying the lowest taxes in decades... the rich haven't paid so little in a generation.

That being said, I look at as "for the grace of God go I". Yeah, there will always be those who take advantage of the system. But in the worse recession since the 30s, to complain about the rise in food stamps and call those down on their luck lazy while you seem unaffected by the downturn is pretty harsh.

Careful, karma can be a bitch...

I am pretty sure that the remarks were not directed to those who were hard working citizens down on their luck. To denie that the current administration is strongly supported by a large population of second, third or more generations of Food stamp grabbing Americans is simply putting your head in the sand. Again, I can't speak for BusaNostra.. but I am betting he is speaking from the same frustration I am.

BTW, if you have a clip of any of the Repubican candidates giving a speech specifically naming and targeting 'White America', at the exclusion of other races in this great country, please post it. I won't vote for them either.

I feel the same as Busa and Snookwheel. You can take all the wealth from every millionaire in the world and it wouldn't make dent in our debt.

Tax the "rich" 100 percent wouldn't help much. taxing the rich has been done before. My father inlaw was paying about 70 percent. You know what he did. He said why work. He shut down his business and went fishing for ten years. When Reagan took office he opened it back up and went back to work and hiring people.

Do you even know how much of your tax money went to welfare? And out of everyone that received said money how many of those people were actually "lazy"? Or is it in your mind that anybody who receives welfare or government aid is just lazy?

The whole "waaahhhhh, I work so hard to feed a bunch of lazy people" rightwing BS is just a straw-man argument.

Something like less than 3% of your income goes to social services and that includes education and many other services besides welfare or food stamps. A quick calculation of how much of my taxes went to welfare and as best as I can tell it was a whopping $153, so I had to work "hard" for 1 hour to feed a bunch of people who may or may not be lazy. BIG FUCKING DEAL!!!!!

Karma? bullcrap! -- I've been in karma since Oboso & the administration came to the white house. I used to have 13 employees down to 5 - how much more I can survive with this wasteful spending & distribution?

Why I need to distribute my income & labeled as unfair because I work hard and gamble my money? Distributing someone's wealth is not what this country was all about. It's about our choice and right where to give or spend our money.

I'm in the same boat with this man: http://obamashlamadama.com/YT-embed/are-you-kidding-me.html

As a former union employer, member, organizer, and somewhat successful investor I feel for those who cannot enjoy sharing the "well earned wealth". When speaking against the black people let us not forget to remember the "clan". Would laugh my butt off if somehow every black could own his very own "conservative businessman"

Who said I don't care for the poor?

I hired people who are disabled and minorities.

I tried to contribute & improved my community.

I give where I want to give but I don't want to be forced where to give and be labeled

as unfair person. No one will care for me if I'm below the ground...no one!

Let's separate & pay attention to the need of the poor vs the most despicable lazy people -- who lived day by day and take free stuff.

Something has to stop with this wasteful spending and gigantic deficit.

So you had 13 employees when W left office and because of Obama you are now down to 5? Sorry, but from that little info it sounds like the pres has done a better job managing a whole country than you have with your company. I hope the 8 former employees have been able to find new jobs since employment is up several points.

At least you can jump in your 7 and take a drive to forget all.

Morgan,

Would you please cite sources for your stats? It's increasingly difficult to find objective statistical sources... yes, I know the saying as it relates to statistics.
