Morning Team.

In the process of assembling a Fraser Clubman here in Christchurch, New Zealand. Gen3 Toyoya 3S-GTE 2.0 litre turbo, forged ali internals, worked head (+1mm valves, Stage A Rally Cams, race springs, custom ports, custom valve seat profiles, HKS adj cam gears), Pace 3-stage dry sump, water/air inter cooler, W58 Supra 5-spd (new synchros and bearings), Quaife LSD in a Nissan Skyline R32 R200 nugget, 12" Wilwoods with 4-pot billet calipers, Oz Racing Ultraleggeras, Toyo R888 225x50x15s, Caterham leather bucket seats + 5 pt harnesses, RaceTech Dash2 digital dash, Caterham alloy switch gear, Momo leather 'wheel, Link G4 Extreme ECU + KnockBlock + MAP and IAT sensors, Tilton floor mount ali pedal box, wide-track race front end with inboard push-rod front suspension, Trax Spax dual adj front and rear, de Dion rear, front and rear sway bars. Should be good for around 300bhp in stage 1 trim, and ... 500bhp if I am brave enough to upgrade to stage 2 with an HKS GT turbo and upgraded fuel system... 500hp at 18psi ... (small voice: 'i need counseling, ... help...help me...')

Goal: 1000hp/tonne, road registered. help

I love every single thing about this build except one thing. Please tell me you aren't going to use that tiny roll bar? With that much power this car needs a proper cage! Triangulation is key for structural integrity in a roll over. That one hoop with 2 bars projecting rear ward will simply bend backwards in a crash and not protect you at all.

Mike Ghaaza is a member of my NZ forums so I can tell you they will more than likely be 15" wheels with Toyo R888 tyres.

We are are looking forward too seeing this car go in Christchurch NZ as we have a member who has 320hp at the rear wheels and it's quite a fun machine through the gears, Ghaazha's build is on another level and seeing it on the road and Ghaaza giving it the welly is going to be FUN......Stand well back boys here he goes :)

Evening, Gentlemen.

Appreciate your kind words. Yes, full roll cage planned. 15x7 Oz Racing with 225 Toyo R888s. 300mm Wilwood drilled and vented, billet calipers. I like big numbers.

Here's my last effort FYI. 4.0 Lexus 1UZ-FE Lexus V8, Supra 5spd, Supra IRS and Supra Multilink rear, Supra TorSen diff, home built space frame, 17x8s with 255 Kumho 712s, full ground effects under-tray and diffuser. Home made intake manifolds and x2 banks of 4AGE throttle bodies with home made trumpets. Lake pipes pretty much straight through perf tube with minimal baffling. Apologies for lack of roll cage, chaps.

I've seen a few and read about a number of Cobra's with Chevy engines. I have also seen several Cobras with automatic transmissions. :banghead:

Agree except it is quite difficult to get out in less than 5secs, which is the length of time one three piece race suit will give some protection from fire.

As I am a bit arthritic and do not have as much flexibility; I have this on my Fraser.

The triangulation with the removable petty bar adds to the stiffness of the chassis and improves my lap times by about a second
