Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I am corrupted...I absolutley believe that too much power is nearly enough. :jester:

Pick up the pace Shane. Only 6 months to the NJMP 7s gathering. :willy_nilly::party: Tom

Tom, I need longer arms...Houston is a long way from AR. :svengo:

More trial-fitting and a little fab work. The shock comparison shows the older (heavier) steel-bodied GAZ on the left and the new (lighter) aluminum-bodied GAZ on the right...both have 300 lb springs.

Great. You are further along than I thought you would be, But then I did not know you would suck the kids into the madness ;~)

BTW Why did you elect to choose springs with fewer coils?

See you in July

Michael,

The aluminum GAZ shocks arrived with the different coil design (fewer coils), but same spring rate...wasn't planned.

Wish I could make NJMP this year, but with the new job in Houston and maintaining two households, I have very limited time in AR to work on the car. As I told Mike and Tom, I took a week of vacation to come home and get it on the ground.

. . . . . But I’ll get there…eventually. :smash:

Thats an encouraging amount of progress. One thing has got me though - do you panel under the seats or do you leave it open a'la Flintstone style for power and braking? :p
