DeanD3W Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 You now have the best looking Stalker rear end on Earth, as far as I know anyway. Has anyone else made a similar modification? Dean
HOTTTCAR Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I did an adjustment on the rear fenders also but did it out of fiberglass. When the fenders get that big they hang over the curvature of the rear deck. This requires an adjustment on one or both to make them fit. scannon Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Hotttcar, That is one wild looking hard top on your car. Can it be driven Targa style? Did you make it yourself? http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=23739
HOTTTCAR Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Skip The doors pop up to get out of the car. While the doors are open you push each one sideways and they come off and can be put in the boot. The entire top comes off also with 6 bolts and two special clamps. I did the design and fiberglass work, Lana does all the real hwork after I finish...sand, fill, sand, and paint. We are working on the third Storker....650HP stock LT4 family car. The new one is 4"wider for this old fat man. Gale
MightyMike Posted July 27, 2016 Author Posted July 27, 2016 Thanks for the comments and feedback guys. I really like how it turned out. Tom Beauchamp, the same guy that worked on my Elise, Birkin, and Baby 7 did the fabrication work. We're lucky to have him in Colorado.
Alfonse Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Wow, Mike and Gale do really impressive work. I am in awe of the results. Thanks for sharing.
xcarguy Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Another photo of the superb workmanship of Mike's car.

jbanker Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Mike, love the way you have managed to capture the style of the original Seven. Where did you find the tail light assemblies? I am wanting to replace mine. Have been thinking about buying the new Just Add Lightness LED assemblies. Jack
MightyMike Posted July 15, 2017 Author Posted July 15, 2017 I found them on the Interwebs; company out of the UK called Venta. IMO, these are the best looking lights you can get for a Seven. https://ventauk.com/product/rl600-series-led-combination-rear-lamps-3/ Almost an actual size pic... http://i67.tinypic.com/2i8w5me.jpg
Mondo Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Mike, Your really talented and have great taste... I think you love the building process. You last one was beautiful too. I need to save up so when you move on to the next project car and can buy this one;)
MightyMike Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 Mondo - thank you! I get much of my inspiration from other cars on USA7s.
MightyMike Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 (edited) I made a diffuser this weekend. Results were noticeable on the freeway; much smoother ride. I suppose it was due to less turbulence. At some point, I'll get it powder coated. http://i65.tinypic.com/ok95js.jpg http://i66.tinypic.com/2dv0caa.jpg After I took this photo, I added a washer to each end to make the panel lay flat. It looks much better now. Edited July 23, 2017 by MightyMike
Anaximander Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Mike, I went to the Stalker photo gallery and looked at what you have done to #159 over the years. Simply amazing workmanship and innovations. This new diffuser is just a continuation of your interesting journey with your Storker. Good job!
