yellowss7 Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 This should get some discussion going. Tom http://xfinity.comcast.net/slideshow/news-whatyourcarcolorsays/1/
twobone Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 funny. My wife said she saw an older porsche the other day in a terrible bright green. I got all excited....owwww...sounds like viper green...so cool on a Porsche! PS - I HATE SILVER CARS
Croc Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I am futuristic, prestigious and elegant! :cooldude: And I guess Twobone no longer is my friend?
yellowss7 Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 Croc, your car is more metallic gray. you are Gray: Neutral, Sober, Practical Well maybe not sober. :jester:
S1Steve Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 And all this time I thought I just liked orange..... Very Wrong Mr. Novelli Get ready, Unique, complex, very artistic, creative, OK I agree with that one... And now Lady's and Gents.... Individualistically Charming.. WTF does that mean....
twobone Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I don't think of a seven in the same context. My hatred is pointed towards the endless fleets of silver audi A4, silver porsches, silver mercedes, silver sedans and minivans. It just feels like a follow the leader mentality...maximize your resale value, fit in, conform, etc. I wanted a green pathfinder, my wife veto'd me into a silver one and I've regretted it ever since
yellowss7 Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 And now Lady's and Gents.... Individualistically Charming.. WTF does that mean.... Maybe that you have a face only a mother can love? :jester::jester::jester: JK Tom
xcarguy Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 What my color says about me: Red . . Ah . . . What can i say? It was painted red when I bought it back from Mike Sharkey.

I am SUV shopping currently for my new daily driver and one manufacturer I am looking at only offers white, black or 4 variations of silver. Guess which one? Audi! I was hoping to find a nice dark blue or red this time....proving difficult.
BessieTheSeven Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 And now Lady's and Gents.... Individualistically Charming.. WTF does that mean.... It means that you have so much sex appeal that my rear end is dribbling with excitement. Want to go for a ride?
Kitcat Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Croc: VW Toureg comes in midnight blue. Same car as Audi S7, minus the $5K Audi badge. Get the TDI and tow up to 7700 lbs and get 35mpg highway, 22 mpg city. I have the base model but you can go upscale if you need a bit of luxury to offset your spartan track car. Even the base model is pretty lux. Very comfortable seats, great visibility, quiet, comfortable ride, excellent handling-I'd love to do a few hot laps in it on Lightning. I guarantee it wldnt be the slowest car out there in the intermediate group, excluding the se7ens, of course.
Croc Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Croc: VW Toureg comes in midnight blue. Same car as Audi S7, minus the $5K Audi badge. Or $5k Porsche badge. I am very closely looking at the Porsche cayenne diesel....if I can get a demonstrator version not too heavily loaded that has some initial depreciation. Either that or the BMW X5. Both come in reds and blues
Kitcat Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I think the Porsche badge is a $10K bump on the diesel-it is very nice! I bought a VW demo with 5000 miles and saved $5k. I have added abt 50K miles thus far in 2 years. Not a single problem (on a car that Cons Rpts says is the "worst of the worst" as to reliability).
Sabbot Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Taking stock of colors of the cars I've owned over the years I feel very mixed up.... 5 red 1 orange 4 yellow (one of which had black "zebra" stripes for added giggles) 4 blue (one of which I repainted white) and includes current caterham which just happens to have a yellow nose band. 1 silver 1 green 2 white 2 black
DeanG Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Current cars by year: Dark Blue, Tan, Red, Silver, polished aluminum. I guess I'm - confused.
Pe7e Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Here are some of my favorite colors: http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q554/Pe7ey/BMW197530CSLAlexanderCalder.jpg http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q554/Pe7ey/BMW1977320iGroup5RaceversionRoyLichtenstein1024x768.jpg http://s1163.photobucket.com/user/Pe7ey/media/BMW197530CSLAlexanderCalder.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="<!--url{0}--></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a> border="0" alt=" photo BMW197530CSLAlexanderCalder.jpg"/></a> http://usa7s.com/vb/<!--url{1}--></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href=http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q554/Pe7ey/BMW197530CSLAlexanderCalder.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo BMW197530CSLAlexanderCalder.jpg"/>' alt='a>'>
