Hello all,

Years ago we had a great meet at Carlisle PA. does anyone have any interest in doing this again? It will only make sense if we get more than 5 drivers to come. I know locally we have many drivers but im hoping to attract more northern, western, and southern cars. i recall we have had more then 10 cars before.

here is an old thread about the 2008 meet.

I've wanted to do Carlisle for years. I think next season is a long way off, but I'd be interested. Right now, my car also is not able to travel, but I'm optimistic that it will be on the road again sooner than later.

  • 2 weeks later...

The kit car show is listed as May 16-18, 2014 on the Carlisle Event website.

We try to make it down from eastern Ontario every few years. There is always some amazing craftsmanship exhibited, as well as some truly awful designs. The flea market usually has some neat stuff too if you have the time to peruse piles of junk to find that one nugget.

And always some neat guys to chat with!

Will hopefully have our new motorhome finished, not sure about the Caterham, though am hopeful...

ok, so it sounds like there is a good amount of interest. now... how do we get the club behind this?

personally i can drive my 7 up, but if i tow up i can bring 3 10x10 tents a few folding tables and maybe a grill. i think if we all pitch in it would be a hell of an event.

YES. I can offer a place to stay, but limited parking, in New Cumberland, about 20 minutes away.

Even a group of 7s at the import/kit show would be cool. It would especially cool if we could offer rides on the little autox track.

I am in.

Anyone hitting Carlisle this weekend or Hershey next?
