  1. Wow that just seems impossible.
  2. The Raga 300 is a great bike I rode one about a month ago.
  3. I Recommend PIAA 525 they are black really bright small diameter but have no turn signal. They are not cheap but they can be found on Amazon for under 200.
  4. Jim I am attaching a picture of the chip to remove. Hold the ecu in the orientation in the picture. The plug towards you. Top left hand corner there is a chip about 1.5 inches long that is standing on its edge. Just wiggle it back and forth and break it off ecu chip removal.bmp
  5. Call me 325 650 7049
  6. Depending on your code reader. 0607 will show if the immobilizer is removed. Honda dealer computer is far more advanced and will not give such generalized codes the air pump is normal. 1298 and 1415 are abnormal.
  7. Necessity is the mother of invention. Great job on clever solution.
  8. The stock Honda shifter is cut down about six inches. It originally came with a rubber bushings bonded to that shaft. That you have in the picture The shifter is easy to removed if the console is out. You could take it to a machine shop and have them put it in a lathe to turn it down and thread it.
  9. Hondata isn't as plug and play as AEM. It require new crank trigger wheel new crank sensor and cam sensor and valve cover to work. Just something to consider.
  10. I have no good spare ecus. I have three but they all have bad u2 sensor error problems. 7evin has a spare 2.2 if Busa doesn't send his. I can get in touch with him if you need it he doesn't visit this forum very much.
  11. I apologize I guess I didn't see the request. I usually reply if I see it. If want to To ask me directly you could PM me or call my cell phone has been posted on this topic or is on my website. The engine will run on a 2.0 ecu it has a different rev limiter.
  12. If you don't want to install another gauge. You can use the oil pressure gauge just install the sending unit and run the signals to a toggle switch so you can flop from oil and fuel pressure without cutting another hole in the dash. Just a thought.
  13. Here is a scan of the wiring diagram. As you can see the DLC has been corrected it was all flipped 180. I think you can see the changes pretty clearly. I will check a few local yards to if I can locate a DLC for you. I can wire it and label it and send it to you if that helps you any. Pin 16 is 12v unswitched. The ignition will need to be on to check the codes.
  14. Check the blue/ wht wire if that's good then you install a dlc connector. It's fairly easy. You can go to any salvage yard and remove the dlc plug from any make. The plug is the same wiring varies. I can email you a diagram of the wiring.
  15. You can use a AP1 ecu and ecu thru 04.5 model year. They went to drive by wire in late 04. The 2.0 ecu is the same just has a different rev limiter. It will work to test. See my response in other section. Note AEM and Hondata have no limp modes.
  16. Yeah I watched that race today. Very sad accident. He couldnt have hit that fence in a worse position. No way to control a car in the air unless they start putting flight surfaces on them.
  17. I just purchased a 2.2 ecu for a customers car in Houston last week. Keep in mind if you swap the ecu if you have the Honda key switch they wont work together and it cant be reprogramed without the OBD2 plug. It wont start. If you dont have the Honda key switch then you have to remove the anti theft section from the ecu before it will start. Fuel pressure gauge is very useful to trouble shoot these type of issues. Its well worth the little bit of hassel to install one. It takes about 30 min to install and clears up issues like this in seconds. I doubt it is a fuel pressure regulator. The Honda one is a simple spring loaded return bypass regulator very unlikely it failed. It is unlikely that the fuel pump came off the hose. I has happened before but it usually just wont run if that happens. You can hear the pump humming and no fuel flow. (fuel pressure gauge tells you this very quickly). As mentioned in the previous post its sounds like limp mode.
  18. Just give me a call check your PM. I likely know the cause I need a little more info. It sounds like you are going into limp mode which wont allow the car to rev past 4k or so. It sounds and feels like fuel issue because the computer pulls the the fuel and timing out of the engine. Has the car always run well in the Vtec range? Were you speeds over 100mph? Have you been at that speed before? Depending how your car is wired the ecu power might stay on even with the battery switch off. So disconnect the battery positive terminal for 15 seconds and then reconnect and go for a drive. If its a VSS limp code it will run fine again until it gets up to near 100 mph. Then it will kick in again. The problem most likely is the VSS signal going into the ecu. Its the blue wire / white strip. It should be going to connector A pin 9 on the ecu. Connector A is the plug with just a few wires in it. Pin 9 is located by looking at the wire side of the plug with the retaining clip up the top row starts with pin 1 on the left and goes in order left to right. It may be plugged in another location let me know if that is so. Also and check the blue/white wire isnt connected to the speedo signal input. That will cause the car to mis-behave as well. The speedo needs to be run off a magnetic pickup sender not off the VSS. This has caused problems before.
  19. You can do like we do during 1 lap. Put a 35 gallon tank in a trailer and plumb it to the car tank and refill on the fly. 45 gallons x25 mpg = 1125 mile range. I usually have to pee by then. I guess you can do what the NASA chick and throw on a diaper and get there quick.
  20. I don't think will be a issue.
  21. Yes the cars are still in production. I support the cars and any future parts you may need. http://www.wcmultralite.com
  22. Ok I resized these and converted them they are a little better. Glen is resending higher resolution shots to post when he gets home. Sorry for the hang up. http://go2convert.com/converted/file/3slgwHiD http://go2convert.com/converted/file/qRk9hQtI http://go2convert.com/converted/file/16dyv82H http://go2convert.com/converted/file/ZBA4XlOG http://go2convert.com/converted/file/6yRD9vMu
  23. Well this guy has meet Paul before. He ended up getting moved to CA for work shortly after he bought the car so he just hasnt driven it much.
