  1. I have a customer that lived in Indianapolis and is now working mostly in California and doesnt have time for his car. He has asked me to help him sell so I told him I would list it here for him. His name is Glen his number is 317-828-0852 his email is darkknights2k@gmail.com call him for any further info. The car has 1500 miles on it. It was built by Brian at his facility in Red Oak Tx in 2007. The engine is the 2.2L which has little more torque than the 2.0 and better trans ratios for the engine power curve. The engine is one of 10 that Brian purchased from Portland that was involved in a train wreck they all had under 10 miles on them when he purchased them. It has optional 18" wheels installed and has a completed trunk with carpet. The trunks on the Ultralites are quite large 48x18x13. This car is in like new condition and has had all the initial sorting out done. Should be able to buy and drive. Asking 28500.00 Car cost over 38000.00 new. glens s2k1.bmp

  3. John your accelerates so hard. It looked like the car is really stable at speeds sevens were not intended to go. With all the aero work you've done it's really paying just in time for the owner.
  4. Rikker The v8 conversion adds about 200lbs to the car with the weight balance about the same as original. The only handling problem you have is oversteer whenever you want it.

  6. Lizard skin works well if you want a spray on. Dynamat will be easier.
  7. 4:44 will give you more grunt out of the corners as far as making it smoother not likely. It would likely make things more amplified acceleration changes dramatically between 3:90 and 4:44. What it might change is which gear you are in going thru the corner. Instead of second at 6k you will be In third at 5200. I prefer the 4:44 it will run about 3300rpm at 70 compared to 2853 at 70 with the 3:90. That's assuming 26" tall tire. Apexi tuner will allow you to tweak the vtec engagement point and fuel ratio. If you mo e Vtec to about 4200-4500 instead of 5200. It smooths out the power bump plus you usually can get an extra 10-15 hp from the engine. A little more practice goes a long way too. of gr
  8. Rotary engines are so noisy. It would be best to put a resonator and then a muffler.
  9. Off-road formula car. Who'd a thunk? Blasting downthe highway looked like fun.
  10. GM truck dashes from 1998-2004 have fuel guage issues. One of buddies is a whole sale dealer and most that come to him are broken it's usually the dash panel it's self. Glad the battery reset worked for you.
  11. No old Vortec super charger. I think 7evins car is capable of 10.20 range with drag radials. He did a quarter mile 2 times during 1 lap a few years ago running Michelin PS2. His best was 11.90 now he is running 100 hp more than he was then. Notice wheel spin thru first three gears. 7evin doesn't do much drag racing.   14. Hushpower round mufflers have cool shell technology and pretty decent sound level. Best I've found so far.
  15. Man California is a pain in the arse. I have had 1 officer ask where my front plate is in 6 years. I just told him there is no place for it he said ok and started asking all about the car. He came back for a ride when he got off duty.
  16. Wow Jim that headlight is way out there. I like the motorized plate or you can find flip plates on the net that uses a solenoid to flip the plate up or down. Motorcycles use them a lot.
  17. Hank you have to watch those TT Lamborghinis they flip end over end at 242 mph when the chute is mounted incorrectly.

  19. 418lbs is engine and trans with all the accessories. The Honda six speed is pretty heavy trans compared to T9.
  20. Oops i put the wrong weight. The Honda F 20c w tranny should be about 418lbs.
  21. Mondo you can put the E Rod LS3 in. It is fully emission legal in California. 480 hp. I think a LS miata would be a blast.
  22. S2000 engine tranny is about 460 lbs. Stock junk yard motor 2600-4500 with trans depending on mileage. Built stroker with fuel mgmt 8-12 k engine only. Power adder to stock engine w fuel mgmt will be close to 10k with head studs and upgraded head gasket w valve springs and retainers.

  25. Thanks HOTTTCAR. I want to build a bobbed Duece. I assume it rides like a tank. I guess you can always remove some leaf springs and put air bags in for a load.
