  1. A little ugly but I would drive it.
  2. Thanks for those who have sacraficed for this great nation.
  3. 1/4 flat metal strap welded on like Jerry has shown works really well. I have over 10k miles with that same bracket with no issues. They break pretty quick without them. Next suggestion is a bias valve in the cockpit is nice to have, but I still had to much rear bias even with it adjusted all the way down. I ended up putting the 1.38 4 piston calipers on the rear and they worked great in conjunction with the bias valve. I liked having the bias valve in reach for tuning while you are on the track. You can waste alot of session time tuning it if you put it under the hood. You have to adjust, go back out, test come in adjust ect.
  4. My car that I previously had this se issue with pushed enough fuel thru the carb that the engine was full to the top on a big block chevy it did it in ten days. It had about seven gallons in it.
  5. Needle and seat will hold about 7 psi that is why carb fuel pumps are regulated to no more than 7 psi. Tank can pressurize to over 20 psi depending on how hot it gets. Depending on the fuel tank some have vents in the cap others are on the tank.
  6. I agree with your friend tank was not venting and it over pressurized the carb needle in the carb filling the carb till it overflows runs down the intake into the cylinder and it leaks by the rings into the crank case. I had this happen on a previous project.
  7. It's an Ultralite but doesn't. Appear to be in the race. You are required to place a bunch of sponsor logos on. The car doesn't appear to have them
  8. I took a prospective buyer for a ride in mojo after the supercharger install. He talked about all the fast mustangs and stuff he had. We were at motorsports ranch. He jumped in and wanted back out before I even got the tires warm. I was going 2/3 speed he was white as a hospital sheet when he got out he promptly left the track never to be seen again. I had to apologize to Brian for running off a customer.
  9. Bob that is looking good. Did you end up with lithium battery packs? What's the range?
  10. I saw one of those the other day that was still new that a dealer was selling for 13k. I think it was on ebay. They were originally 35k if I remember correctly.
  11. Good discription on the Ultralite acceleration. Add a supercharger and it is double the fun! Keep us posted on the updates.

    FDA help

Signed on every email account I have. I also forwarded it to all my email contacts. This gov. Is getting out of control.
  13. Here is the picture of my cold air box. It used a panel K&N filter and it fit up to the hood. You might want to put some dynamat or similiar material around the airbox to absorb some of the sound as well.
  14. I built a cold air induction box for my first car. I will pull a picture off my computer tommorrow and post for you.
  15. Thought you would like it
  16. Wow Randy I have been a huge fan of the Blastolene cars for years. You have a great imagination for building popular hot rod styles into bigger than life art. I love the new Pissed of Pete. I would love to own one of your cars some day. Come on mega millions!! It is nice to see you enjoy the smaller things in life like a 7. Welcome to the forum.
  17. He is building several custom cars right now and has the Ultralites on the back burner for a while until he gets the others finsihed.
  18. Cody the Ultralite is several inches wider than a Birkin or Caterham. The overall length is close to the same. You will love the S2000 drive train. It makes the Ultralite on of the fastest 7s out there with a box stock engine. You can see the overall specs at there website. To my knowledge the Ultralite is not currently being produced in any form. So a used one or an unfinished kit is most likely choice. The parts are fairly common pieces and can be found most any place. Also sent you a PM.
  19. Not needed for my application.
  20. The gravel shooter is about 70k I built this for under 4k but they are cool. I saw one a few months back.
  21. I have a. Chimney business as well . I usually. Clean around 300 to 400 fireplaces a year . Whew I'm tired.

    Not a 7

Well I have been busy building but not on my Ultralite unfortantely. I have a turf treatment business that I run on the side from my fire department job. I started top dressing yards last year with compost and needed something better than a shovel to load my top dresser. So this is what I came up with. It is a 9 yd conveyor floor bin.
  23. I think the Hushpower will get you close to there. The muffler you have is just a glasspack they burnout after use. The Hushpower has noise cancellation baffles and cool shell. From discussion on another thread here they had a contact info for them to build a custom length muffler that I would be confident in fixing the problem. I think going to a 2.5" on a NA motor is fine you might actually gain a little torque. My Hushpower was alot quiter than all others I have used. I havent put a meter to it, but it was a dramatic difference. You can have a converstion going down the road at 70. You couldnt before.
  24. Kevin ran Mojito at TWS several times he was hitting about 145 or so in the straight running CCW. He has front and rear wings so it will drive different than yours.
  25. Yeah it makes it much easier. It is the same for all pts. child to adult. My whole family just took cpr last month since the incident with my mom. They taught us 30 compression 2 breaths. If it is a complete stranger. Just do chest compressions. Too many diseases out there.
