  1. Foam units for short trips. I had set of molded fit rubber ear plugs made that has speakers built in them. I can plug into comm unit that has I pod, radar and communication inputs. I like these for a long trip. I have also used the ear muff style units which work ok but popo can snag u with those on.
  2. Looks like he was driving a little over the speed limit
  3. That might require a bulge in the hood. I would hate to have to do that. Hey hey hey
  4. Oh GM has the new E Rod engine kit that is emissions legal to fit into hot rods and older cars that's comes complete with cats ecu and acessories and makes over 400 hp
  5. John Meyers at Run N Gun was the fastest car there by several seconds. He blew the doors of half the field and it is a very streetable car. Having driven 7evins car in it's 380rwhp mode can say that I found my foot to the floor needing more on a few occasions. His car stops and handles as good as any other 7 I have seen.
  6. That is the rated power GM is notorius for underrating engines I have seen ls7 engines turn 650 on a dyno. Right put of the box. The latest LS3 engines are putting out 75hp more than the rating.
  7. John Meyers changed to a LS3 about a year half ago. As far as I know he was the first one. I know of another stalker guy who is finishing the instillation of an LS7 550hp version complete with dry sump. Stalker is now offering this as an option from my understanding.
  8. I think flasher relay
  9. V8 would be tough to fit. I think you would have to lengthen the frame 12" or so to fit. Your not the only person that had this thought.
  10. Are the square wheels are to check to make sure to check for axle warping? You can use the panels to measure from side to side they should all be the same distance on all 4 sides. I of course am assuming all this. Is that correct?
  11. Looks like a great trip Jerry I hope I can do the same some day.
  12. I think it is 4x114.3. Ultalites have 5x 100
  13. It would be funny if weren't so true!
  14. I used to work with a guy that thought the same thing. He felt the air got stale and ruined the rubber we just shake our heads in wonder.
  15. Very motivated to move this first 21k will take it all.
  16. Would prefer to sell as package I do have a spare sti diff but no hubs or axles I I will have to check the ratio on it. I was told 390 but haven't checkedfor sure.
  17. Here a few pics I shot with my phone tonight. If want something with more detail let me know. I am motivated to sell so make a reasonable offer. PM me for more info
  18. The routing has changed from car to car, one tube gets very close to the chassis they also get very close to the motor mount and melts the rubber isolator. This design goes over the chassis bar and will clear the motorount by two or so inches. Kevin will send me some pics when the protype is finished hopefully this week
  19. I still have alot of irons in the fire thought I would add another iron. I am selling to fund the construction of Ultralites for future generations to enjoy. I am tooling up to make a few tweeks for the S2k since, I am the new owner of the Ultralite brand.
  20. Most of us Ultralite owners have a few header leaks where the pipes slide into each other. Since they are multipiece to go around frame members. Kevin has had a friend down the road from him who worked in NASCAR for years and now has a hot rod shop. He has built a killer one piece header that has equal length tubes that merges from a 4 to 1 and it looks great. We are looking at getting them CNC bent for future customers. You can weld a V band or a standard flange on them to connect your exhaust to. We are trying to get the best price we can on them. So if anyone thinks they might be instrested in upgrading to this header send me a PM. They wont be cheap about 600.00
