  1. Drag Reduction System. As used on F1 cars.
  2. I just thought I would add one more data point to this discussion. I've done a little over 15 trackdays with my 2019 310S with the standard brakes and standard M/C over the last 4 years. I'm still on the original brake pads and have only done a yearly brake bleed for maintenance. The only time I use the parking brake is when it's on the trailer and I haven't noticed any unusual drag on the rear brakes. I'll admit that I was real easy on the brakes for the first couple of years, and only in the last couple have I started braking harder and deeper into corners. I just measured my brake pads and the fronts have between 7-8mm of pad remaining and the rears have around 2mm of pad left. YMMV, but I'm definitely getting more wear on the rear brakes with my setup.
  3. I still have the 948 from my first car, a 1961 Bugeye, sitting in my basement. The bottom end has never been rebuilt, with around 70k original miles.
  4. Check out the Burton tuning guides. https://www.burtonpower.com/tuning-guides.html
  5. Looks nice!
  6. Thanks Jesse. We're signed up for a 2-day event at Club on June 26-27 but maybe we can fit in one more at Canaan on the 28th.
  7. Inspired by the recent Barber track day post by @UglyFast I thought I would bump this thread with some photos from a track day weekend at Canaan, NH back in August. This was my first time running in the advanced group and I was a little nervous at first. Highlights of the weekend were getting a point-by from a hot rod Lambo, only having to give one point-by over the two days (a Z06 C8), and my youngest daughter having so much fun doing a ride-along at Canaan that she just did her first track day at LRP in our Exocet. To be fair to the Lambo, Canaan is a low top speed track perfect for Seven's, but it was really cool to chase it down and hear that exotic exhaust up close and personal. Sorry for adding the photo of my daughter drving the Exocet, but I was a pretty proud dad with how well she did at LRP!

  9. Agreed Steve. I've had it since 2007 and it's been flawless.
  10. Just to add my 2 cents to the above recommendation. If you have electric brakes with a manual lever, you can help eliminate sway by applying just the trailer brakes while slowly easing off the gas. I have my brake controller mounted where I can easily reach it and it's become second nature to me. Thankfully with a 4500# truck and a #2100 car/trailer combo loaded properly, sway has not been an issue.
  11. I agree, I saw this setup and saved the photo as one of my favorite trailers setups.
  12. I've had a very similar experience to Dave. I've owned a Mission 14' single-axle aluminum trailer since 2007 that I towed with a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. It has electric brakes with a Tekonsha brake controller and has worked well for many years, returning 15-16mpg while towing. Combined weight of the trailer and Seven was between 2000-2100#. I would still be using the 2007 Ridgeline if it hadn't started to show signs of rust here in the northeast. I recently replaced that Ridgeline with a 2022 model that has worked out even better, returning 18-20mpg depending on terrain, traffic, and average speed. It's very stable towing and I usually cruise at 70-75mph. Definitely worth considering if you can get by with an open trailer. I too would like to see a lightweight clamshell trailer like they have available in the UK.
  13. I believe that slave cylinder was used on that era Caterham delivered to the US in LHD form. My buddy has a '92 almost identical to yours and he has the same blue slave cylinder. When it started to leak he was able to get a replacement here in the US. I believe it was from Josh at Rocky Mountain Caterham.
