    I had a local sheet metal shop cut and bend them. If I were to do it again I think that I would show them a picture of a polished seven. I would mark the sheet myself. It's only a few minutes of work for a 8' shear, 8' brake, but it slows down their production. Find a small shop that you can work with , but the most important thing is to measure carefully. :banghead:

    Virginia has a provision to title your car as a replica car. I tried to title my seven this way. I presented many photos of original sevens, and he still titled my seven a as a specialized construction which requires an emission inspection. :banghead:

    Type in Portable-10-Ton-Hydraulic-Pipe-Tube-Bender on Ebay. It comes with dies from 1/2' - 2". I'm going to try the sand. I have some real thin wall tubing to bend. Do you wet the sand and then pack it in or do you use it dry?

    I think that we will look back and wish that we had purchased a seven that nice for that price. Do you that that April the 15th had anything to do with it?

    You need to ask Steve Taylor what he keeps in his seven. On last September's Blat I carried over $1000.00 in tools and spare parts. I never had what I needed, but Steve did! :banghead:
