  7. Can’t find it on the R&T website. Maybe a magazine only thing? Did find a Donkervoort http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/news/a29066/the-donkervoort-d8-gto-rs-looks-like-a-lotus-seven-on-pcp/ and a Elan road test from 1963 http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a29067/road-test-lotus-elan-1600/
  8. I misread the article thinking they were talking about a 50-60kg reduction in chassis weight. From the article :”Caterham claims around 10% of the car’s weight could be cut if the chassis was to be put into production. That means between 50kg and 60kg would be slashed from the Seven’s already tiny overall weight.”
  9. Caterham is working on a 50-60kg lighter chassis. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/caterham/super-7/95020/caterham-seven-could-get-even-lighter-with-new-bike-tech-chassis
  10. I would start by checking the voltage at the battery with the engine running to rule out a bad alternator not charging the battery. You should see ~13.5 -15 volts.
  11. Picture from Caterham assembly guide.
  12. A side question - is there a way to reach someone at Caterham USA for parts orders? Caterham USA parts email: parts.usa@caterham.com
  13. Bob: that is my car that I sold a couple of years ago. I mounted the plate to the license plate light. Take out the center screw that holds the lens and you will see holes in the backing bracket. I drilled corresponding holes in the license and mounted the plate to the bracket. I used a plastic frame to hold the plate as well, just cut out the section of the frame where it meets the light. Mike

  20. The relays were mounted with the fuse box on my 06 Caterham which was located on the fire wall above the passenger footwell. If I remember correctly there were plastic cubes. It may not be the relay though, a common problem seems to be the flasher switch. Here is link to one thread on the subject http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?8819-turn-signals-and-hazards-stopped-working&highlight=turn+signals
