  1. '02 SS. 10 bolt GM. Disc brakes, tru-trac (Torsen) diff.
  2. I'm pretty sure my current camaro axle will not be able to put down 440 if the tires completely hookup. The good news is that there is a $2000 solution to that problem that is a direct bolt in (Moser 12 bolt Tru-Trac). I'll have to do with my $300 camaro axle for now.
  3. I hope Arya is reading this... he has it so easy  At least you get internet access
  4. Isn't bench racing great? A 9 second seven in real life will be truely impressive.
  5. According to that, at 440 flywheel HP and 1900 lbs, I can run an ET of 9.48. I guess that's assuming I can hook it all up. I don't see that happening without drag slicks.
  6. 175 :willy:
  7. The fastest I have seen is the crazy turbo BEC seven in the UK that has run 9's in the quarter. It is for sale in the For Sale section. I won't know how fast my car is until later this year. I rolled it out of the garage this morning to sweep under it. It took like 2 minutes . I'll be happy with low - mid 10's with my current config (and new tires).
  8. I'm always up for a good dinner and a drink. My car won't be ready (I was walking IN it today :nonod:)
  9. Please post them up in the appropriate region. if it catches on, I'll make a sticky post for each region.
  10. Carlisle is May 17th.
  11. The downside of home is that the garage is under the bedrooms, and I can not work on it into the nights...
  12. camera phone / fire extinguisher [/thread]
  13. Bruce, fantastic pics.
  14. I will be organizing at least one drive through the mountains of WV.

  17. Welcome aboard. And nice pass on wifey (if she chuckles at this, she's cool ) http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/922765041_nicepass.JPG
  18. well, arya and I are planning on converging on the car tomorrow afternoon, and leaving 24 hours later after dropping the engine in, doing the rear upper suspension links, and painting the new tubing. I'm bringing her back with me so I can get a little more work done on her. That dinner is a real motivator
  19. well, that's one way to go fast
  20. I can't wait to fire mine up... hopefully before Bob It's nice that everything seemed to work day 1.
  21. Congrats. My son was 6 years old when he first rode in the seven, and he has his own motorcycle helmet just for this purpose. I had (and will have) Kirkeys (15" wide) and just put pillows under him to raise his shoulder height for proper fitment of the belts. It is not the safest thing, but then again he has only been in the car on the road for no more than 20 minutes. This is what he looked like in there without pillows under him http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061001_115548_CIMG1048.JPG BTW, I can't remember whose car that is
  22. yup, that's when he stopped running, right?
  23. How can you keep it still that long? The fact that my car is not driveable right now is making me
  24. Finally some success  I've never felt this much satisfaction over a piece of tubing http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1105382058_CIMG2314.JPG
