  1. OK, I'm driving up with my windscreen firmly in place, and it had better still be there on Sunday morning
  2. Sorry, already promised it to Bob
  3. Those of us with 150 hp will sit this one out...
  4. Don't be a wuss, Box, you've got an SV
  5. I had just moved here from the UK and we'd recently moved into our house. I took my daughter to school then sat down to check e-mails. I had the TV on in the background and the news hit. I spend the next 14 hours in front of CNN, kind of in shock. Had to field a bunch of calls from friends and family in the UK as my wife works in DC part of the week. The video Mazda pasted was the tipping point for a Brit - time to get the Kleenex. Never again, I pray.
  6. 40's? bring it on Nice warm day in Northern England, that! I'll go out in any temperature so long as it's dry and there's no salt on the road
  7. Wrap it in foil, stick it on the manifold and it will be ready to eat on arrival Do you have a place in mind to meet up in Harrisonburg, Mazda? Steve.
  8. Form an orderly line fella's...
  9. I think she's on the lookout for a green card
  10. Settle down boys, she's a friend of the family, just turned 21 and a bit shy. She likes seven's though
  11. Thanks Arya, wasn't sure how much room you had - a roof would be good. Might have a young English lass traveling with me - would there be room for her too? Thanks, Steve.
  12. If it arrives in time - which it should. I'll make some copies too.
  13. Mine has not arrived yet :banghead: I can't believe they put the cake on the cover! Could not wait for the photos from Zee and Killboy as I had to send everything off the week after 7/7/7 - did send them the hi res group shot later, so hopefully they used that... Sorry about the 'esrtwhile' thing Al, I meant venerated
  14. Not too surprising as the 135 hp 'advertisied' is thought by many to be somewhat exaggerated - engine builders especially. I had my crossflow rebuilt in 99 (unleaded conversion, plus new pistons, bolts etc.) and it made 109hp at the wheels. Still a lot of fun though
  15. OK, I'll need about 25 sq ft of that:d
  16. Is it OK for me to pitch a tent at the house?
  17. There was also the (infamous) story of the German driver recently who drove through a wall because the sat nav told him to
  18. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/82089-never-trust-sat-nav.html
  19. Friend of mine in London has one - might see if I can persuade him to let me have it on 'permanent loan'
  20. Finally got mine today. Excellent article
  21. Looks like I'm in :hurray: One vote for the campfire
  22. And hat's off to Ed for making this and 7/7/7  Not that any of us are jealous you understand...
  23. Looks fantastic Brad. If you get chance, try it on smaller wheels - 13's (ideally) or 14's - big difference.
  24. In Italy it's OK to miss church on Sunday if Ferrari are racing. And they rings the church bells if they win (at least, in Marranello they do). Where cars are a religion and all that... :blueangel:
  25. Al, just checked my profile shot of your car... it definitely leans forward
