  1. Ohio,,we will be feeling your pain this spring. Mary is making me legalize the car I.E get the car inspected and title finalized here in Akron. sigh.. yeah i need to do this...no i dont want to go through it.
  2. Does anyone know if the 'reliability run" still exists or not?

  6. How awesome!! taking an already great car, and putting it in such good light
  7. Very very cool!!!
  8. Well thats a good point actually.. i deperatly looked for some smaller "bullet" style mirrors but couldnt find anything. These are the same type that were on my original windshield. I saw the nice small carbon fibre ones but they looked out of place to me. i also looked at possibly some billet style motorcycle ones but again they were all funky shaped. Also played with the idea of converting a bullet shaped side marker into a mirror.. If anyone knows of small bullet mirrors i am VERY open to changing them. now it can also be said with that little 1600 kent crossflow and rock rubber tires i go so slow anyways i NEED those big mirrors..because i will be getting passed quiet often!
  9. Those look like the birkin side shields..
  10. Once again, being a copycat.. i am planning on a charcoal black color. theres nothing really bad about the existing silver, but i think the brake dust black would be bad azz. especially if i keep the chrome knock offs. I REALLY want a set of panasport/minlite style.. but humbly just not in the budget. now dont get me wrong...we are not just making her purdy.. we hope that windscreen cuts the air a bit better at higher speeds. if anything it IS several pounds lighter! Oh and THANKS Mike.. that day in your shop really helped!
  11. Or, you can make a brooklands set like i just finished? (see pics added today). of course gotta still have the full windshield to take on trips in case of rain.
  12. Alrighty, project 1 completed!.. geez polishing big bits of aluminum is such a mess, lol. Funny the most expensive thing here was those fancy wing nuts. the whole windscreen including supplies and the 2 bullet mirrors cost me about 175$. Might have to wear some better sunglasses now though. now onto painting the wheels..
  13. America's cup. This morning the USA flagged giant trimaran sponsored by BMW/oracle won over the Swiss flagged catamaran Alghini. it was a heck of a race! the series is just best 2 of 3 for these billion dollar efforts. sunday is race #2.

  23. Dear Robert, Last year you supported the Vintage Car Exhibition at our Celtic Beltane Festival. We're hoping you can do so again. We enjoyed your participation and many folks have already asked if you would be back this year. We'd love to be able to answer that you will. Of course those who drive in behind the wheel of a vintage car will not be required to pay an entrance fee. I've attached a copy of our flyer. Perhaps you can pass it along to your membership. By the way, our Festival is now a 501 ©(3) charity. All expenses are tax deductible. Thanks so much for your help, Best aye, Margaret Margaret Frost, Chairman Scottish American Society The Scottish American Society is sponsoring its sixth annual Celtic Beltane Festival on Saturday the 22nd of May 2010 at Maize Valley Market & Winery, 6193 Edison Street NE (State Route 619) just east of Hartville, Ohio.
