Of course you are interested! Does anyone know the oil flow rate of a Kent Crossflow with standard oil pump at various RPMs, 3K, 2K, etc? Or that of any engine if you know it. I just have never known if engines flow quarts per second or gallons per minute. I have no idea.

Burton??? Pegasus and Dave Bean! What pan do you have? I have a "wedge" from Caterham. its even with the bellhousing bottom. Ive managed to hit it, drop the car on it going over a curb, etc. I have ruled out a dry sump unless its necessary because I'd rather be hitting the pan before hitting the bellhousing. Update: I have since changed my mind and am piecing a DS together as cheap as I can. Why? reduce foaming, improve cooling and aeration. All to feed the engine better oil.

I have decided to build my frame stands, basing the design after the Allstar 10625, but more over built. I the commonly available materials are Uni/Super strut channel tubing, and hole punched 1-1/8 & 1-1/4 square tube at Depot. The Unistrut I can bolt together but would have to hunt for the angle braces. The square hole punched tube will be welded and welder can fab the braces. The hole punched tube will slide together so I can have some telescoping. I'm not certain this punched tube is adequate??? What say the gallery?

Edumacate me.... the "English" axle is not the Escort, right? Definitely not the Morris Ital/Marina. What street cars got English axles? Is it the same as an Atlas axle?

At the bottom, the cable anchor. I didn't install it, the shop that built up the car did. its not in the picture anymore because it worked loose and i cut it off recently since im removing everything soon. But I would definitely have it, or something to retain the cable. Another thing the shop did was zip tie the sparkplug boots to the distributor.

don't forget to zip tie or safety wire that cable to its fixing, and the cable sleeve to the collet.

Mines is mounted to the inboard screws, pointing inwards. There appear to be differences in bracket construction.. the collett may be either inside or out. position the collet so its centered.

On the Matt Lewis site, and possibly elsewhere, is a line of differentials, the BlackLine, which appear to be very similar to the QUAIFE torque biasing diffs. These run a few hundred cheaper than the Quaifes. Has anyone found an adhesive backed vinyl covering, in red, to lay over the black Caterham instrument panel? I suppose I could order a Prisoner spare, or buy a second hand. That is a detail for later after we get running.
