  1. Hi Bruce, When the date is final, I would like to enjoy one of your great blats.... Steve
  2. I agree with Mike. That was the first thing that came to mind. Then the motorhead part of me kicked in, and I wondered how much downforce was being made. Great 7, glad to see a nice happy ending...... Because we all like a " Happy Ending".......
  3. From what I have read over the years, the stock Zetec oil pump is cast. Castings get fatigued over time and crack. So once the crack grows it gives the oil pump shaft room to move around and its self-destruction takes place. We have huge cast pumps at work, that are spun by 500hp electric motors. If they let loose , its at start up at a much lower rpm. I'm trying to find where I read max rpm for a Zetec oil pump is 6400. The pump is the Big weak link in the very well built Zetec engine... Hope this helps... Steve
  4. Just think, I have front row seats to this Maddness.... Xcarguy bring lots of popcorn...
  5. Karl, That's is very well made, look forward to getting a taste !!!!! See you at NJMP if not sooner, Steve
  6. Mazda, I really don't care how many wheels it has, as long as you let me take it for a ride. Good luck with getting it up and running as it looks like alot of fun....
  7. We have a wedding to go to in Norf Jersey...... Have fun...
  8. So I asked my wife if she would like the one on the right....No Thanks... Nice try....
  9. It's the best of the best.... Good luck with the sale...
  10. Those guys at Pistonhead dig up the best Photo's. What would you say to Jimmie. I would ask him to show me how to drive....LOL Thought I'm sure that's not what Dan Gurney is asking...
  11. Tom , I booked a suite at the track, I took # 7 just because it was still available. And its close to Croc's new track pad, so after I drink most of his better wine, I can walk home.... Looking at a trailer this weekend.... Steve
  12. Welcome Blokko, If you are moving to Mass., maybe you can road trip to NJMP over 4 of July weekend and have some fun. Sounds like there will be a great turnout.... Just read your posts on Blat, Croc already filled you in on the important details... Cheers, Steve
  13. Dan, Thanks for explaining this. I have a better understanding of why RedBull lost second place at the grandprix this past weekend. Sure, more fuel more power... As for the turbo sound, I'll have to hear it for myself. But I never heard a F1 car I didn't like. The V10's at Indy a few years ago were hard on the ears, and yes I had good hearing protection...... ThanksDan !!
  14. And there you go !!!!! Let the Games begin !!!!!!!!!!! Well Done....
  15. Hi All, Just watched video's of NJMP , on this raining , cold night. Try to learn the right way around the track, ( Tom and Karls lines) and the wrong way( Croc). Having some cabin fever and ready for the spring-summer to kick in. Just thought I'd post something to get the cheap-shot, trash talk, ball breaking started to get everyone fired up for this very fun event..... Stay thirsty my friends.....
  16. Deal...... And I'll bring a few cold ones for after the joy rides are over...
  17. Xcarguy, Mean looking 7..... Ok , I'll ask first, I'd like a ride in it someday..LOL Enjoy it...
  18. Just rolled thru your thread, your doing great work...
  19. No, No , No.... It will take more than a Doctor to remove that Vac from my...........
  20. That looks nice Skip.....
  21. Move over Jim, I need my spot under the BMW buss..... I have asked the wife if she would like a BMW hat for when she has the top down... Whew.. she said no...
  22. Now you did it Croc... Now I'll be watching YouBoob videos for the next hour... TX
  23. Speedwagon, I understand and agree with your comments. If I ever were to drop in a V8, that's the kind I would like. If you could, post a photo of your GM 10 bolt, I'd like to see how it is installed. "Love the one your with" would be why I would attack the S1. Good luck with yours.
  24. There are two short clips floating around of this S1. But I could never get any details. Looks like a GM engine. I wonder what gearbox he used, it's not a type9. BOOM !!!! Some type of replacement rear would need to be fitted. The SA light truck rear is close to it's Max rating with the Zetec, so you know it won't last long with a small block infront of it. BOOM... I like the the engine I posted because it looks the part and must be light in weight. Looks like a baby Cosworth DFV... And 30 hours of running before it needs a service.... What a deal.... X your right with LS1... LOL Enjoy the weekend...
