    All excellent points !!!! All I said to a friend is, " That's a cool looking block" Next I know we're loading it up to my house.... I would really have to do Major surgery to the S1 and I don't think I could do that.. Storker ????????

    Hi Shane, Thanks for helping me with identifying this block. It's a complete engine, that someone took apart to have a look at. Why you would take apart something that runs ok is something I don't get. I'll let you know how far this crazy idea goes. Hope all is great on your side, Steve

    Can any of you LS engine owners help me identify this block. A friend said this block would be crazy in my S1. This kind of transplant would be a lot of work, as it would mean new trans, driveshaft and rearend. Plus a lot of engineering on my part to get all this to fit. If it will fit.... So I'll start off with what block I have.... Thanks Steve

    speedwagon, Thanks for you input. I'm sure most of us are aware that this problem can happen on any car. I am aware of the master cylinders on the early cars. My S1 is at the end of the production run ,so I never had that problem.

    Hi Shane, What brand of pads are you using and what compound. I'm due for pad replacement and have used Wilwood pads before. I would think it's time for new wheel bearings also. I also got caught up watching your in the wet videos you reposted from NJMP today.. big fun. Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum, I have driven Croc's CSR and his maroon SV and had no problems. I'm 6'3 and down to 225 , size 11 shoe. Driving shoe's are key. Hope it all works out for you. Now if I can only get my butt in his FIA mustang, all will be well in my world !!!!!!!!! Steve

    Yes Randall I agree. Looks like the same Toyota rear that's in my Superformance S1. Superformance cars are also built in South Africa. Mine is not limited slip. Steve

    Hey Jon, I agree with you, but having that title of " World Champion" must mean a lot when it comes to global car sales. If you look at Caterham's 0 points in 4 years, you see it's a hard road ahead.... Wish them well if it really happens.

    The doors and hardware are off the windshield frame. I made a bracket that that holds the mirror to the frame, so I had side mirrors for tech inspection at our July track event. It would have been to hot with the doors on.. It may be the police wondering what the hell's going on here...LOL

    I went out with Bucks County Exotics Car Club for the Covered Bridge Tour over this past weekend. It was a great mix of almost million dollar Super Cars to 3 Sevens that ran away from them on the back twisty almost 2 lane roads. If its my last good fall drive of 2014 , It was a great one....
