Hey Mazda, Your car looks really good in the first photo, the hood and windshield change up the naked lines that I am use to seeing. Do have front fenders for it ??? Are you going to use that scoop or just kicking around ideas.

Hi Tom. I am still planning on Saturday. Hoping for a nice day so the rain won't drive the racers away. And it would be nice to drive the S1 down there with the top off. What are you going to drive, Porsche, #123, or other ??? Steve

For those that go to Carlisle, check Kirkham out next year, there were 2 out on the show flield. These are built to over the top standards. Superformance builds nice Cobra's, but I think the Kirkhams are the best that MONEY can buy. I would love to have one. One tag said, RDMIG Steve

Steve, The big problem is, doing all the work to build your own car, and getting it to the grid. Massive undertaking. Plus FIA said it has room for 3 new teams, and 4 to 6 said they would like a spot. I wish them all the best, The Lotus guys better call Cosworth Yesterday !!!!! If Cosworth does supply all these new teams, they are going to be hopping , I "ll check to see it they are trading on the stock market !!!! LOL ???? No really !!!! Steve

Hi, I see that SVRA will be at New Jersey Motorsports Park on Oct. 1-4. I am planning to go again this year, and thought it be fun to meet up with other 7's. Lot's of of Lotus 7's and other cool cars. Sat. is the 3rd, thats the day I will be going. It's a good time and very laid back. If the weather is good, it will be a great day. Think about going, and Post Up !!!! Maybe Al will bring his new car !!!!! Steve

KiwiBirkin, No it's me driving slow LOL

Good Stuff, Shows how big a program it takes to run the 24 hours, I liked when they bent the lower wishbones, and had a update over night from the Factory, and the drivers explaining what driving in the rain feels like. Brave Men !!!!!

That fact has been known in the trade for some time. We have been wearing half face masks when we weld or grind on any Stainless Steel, 304, 317. The fumes and dust from that stuff is very hard on the lungs. When we weld old to new it always makes nasty fumes. I try to stay away from welding anymore, plus the eyes are not young anymore. Good fact for the guys to know Scannon, Steve, Steamfitters Local 420, Phila. Pa

Mazda, To much rake, Skip is correct, closer is going to save you from the wind. But you have been driving with no wind shield for a while now, so anything is going to be better. Good, now it has a windshield, so I can see where I am going , next time you let me drive it and say " Stand On It". Oh, can you move the seat back. LOL Looking good Mazda !!!!!

Thrown in the towel, Nope, I think you did a great job getting it to " roller" mode. That is the hard way to do a build, most would have had their hands up long ago. Good Call !!!!!!!

It's a shame Speed TV won't show Rally's anymore, I miss it !!!!!

Hi Bruce, That was a great Blat, and after I was home I had a good laugh.Rained like a SOB.It is fixed and I had a nice evening ride home from a local car show tonight. You did good, Jen is holding out on the vidieo she has !!!!! Steve

Well it must be head light week. After my ride home in the rain and flooding a month or so ago,my light on the left side stopped working. I looked the fuses, OK, pulled the nose off to get to the connecter from the harness to the light and it was all crapped up with green rust. Cleaned it up and back in the saddle. Hopefully it is something easy on Frankin7. Arya's a smart guy, he 's working it out as we speak. Good luck with the fix and enjoy the beach.

Rick, First, Welcome to the club. You are looking in all the right places. My first pick for a 7 is exactly what you are looking for, that was 2002. Two problems for me, I don't fit in one, and I could not find a nice one. This forum is a great place to state what you are looking for, and I hope we can make your wish come true. Keep looking and when you find it, POST LOTS OF PHOTO'S !! Finding what you want is half the fun, Steve
