  3. Hi Dave, Having your radiator fixed is no big deal for a good rad shop. I have had a few fixed on different cars, Mostly MG's, with success. As for replacing the old one with a new Ali radiator, they can leak too !!!!! The rad on our cars are so low and out front, they take a beating. Good Luck, Steve
  4. Martin, You have raise very good points reguarding this club, something I have thought about often. As you stated, this is the best forum relating to the 7 car there is. I will put on my body armour for my next statement and say, For all the help and info that one can get here, all the great insight on any type 7, And I feel most are covered by our members. The money that can be saved or spent by asking our thoughts or take on the subject is well worth 20 bucks for a membership. Over 1000 guest's and 187 or so paid members. 20 bucks, If you are building a car, or buying a car, that is money well spent. Ok, Here goes, No membership, No post. And if that is wrong, let's come up with a better idea, I am all ears, and no bullet holes, YET !!!! Steve

  6. This driver carry's more speed into the corner, so is faster than the rest out of the corner. The trick is to stay off the brakes, and have the talent that he has. Must be nice!!!! Steve

Not two seconds out of the lot, Mazda say's " Jump on it", How do I say " HOLY @hit in a nice way. Let me say " It is CRAZY " fast, It handles great, I give it a good brake test and it stops very well. It really is a very good handling 7. It is just so #&%#$@ FAST!! Everyone that owns a 7 needs a ride in this car. Think of it as a "Nextel Cup 7" Thanks Mazda, Al, John and anyone I may have missed, Steve
  15. KiwiBirkin, Glad to have you join us.Went poking around the Google Map that you posted, looks like I have to put NZ on the list of places I want to see. The tires look like some type of wet weather race tire, if they are soft, they won't last long. Great luck with the new car !! Steve

  20. I have sat in Tom's car,and at 6'3" and ,well 241, I fit OK. I have a buddy close by with Cat, and fit in his Ok also. I went for the Caddy 7, a Superformance S1. More room, wider pedal box and more weight than a Caterham. You have to remember what 7 is, I had a hard time fitting in a early Lotus 7, that was what I looked at first. Looking forward to the LOG, Steve
