HI, Weclome to 7 ownership, and two at the same time. Your Westy is a sharp looking car, and I would think someone here will scoop it up. Good luck with the S1, post alot of photo's and let us know how it runs. Steve Novelli

To the Officers, Great idea, I think the club should have some funding. I will send a check to the listed address. Steve Novelli

If you had to get your first seven all over again...

The biggest factor was getting my 6'3" 240 pound body in a 7. I wanted a very early Lotus 7 when I started looking. I was walking around Indy, the weekend of the 2000 F1 race and came across the Superformance booth and they had one of the first S1's sitting there. So I jumped in and found it to have a lot of room for a 7. And I thought the S1 looked good. And when the time came to buy ,I always came back to the S1 as being my top pick. And I am happy to say , I still feel it was the right 7 for me , and the price was OK. A Stalker was my second pick, Lotus 7, not a good fit for me. Buy what makes YOU happy !!! Hi, When I was looking for a 7 in 2002, that was the price for a new one, with a stock Zetec without any aftermarket TB. I like to know more about the " Alternate Computer Chip" 210- at 6500, 260 at 8000 rpm, WOW !!! On all motor, with no help from a Turbo, Supercharger,ect... I'd like to buy just the engine !!!

KitCat, Spring Carlisle and Fall Carlisle are the real big events. If it were made for a car , you would have a good chance to find it at those events. I have seen parts for cars I never heard off. The Kit Car show is alot smaller, and no waiting on the exit ramp of the PA turnpike for an hour or more, and another 40 or so to the fairgrounds. It's a 10 minute drive from the turnpike to the fairgrounds on a normal day. Still, bring your walking shoe's, it's a BIG place !!! Steve Novelli

Southwind, I would get on the Web site to find out about were to camp. I have been going to this event for many years, and always found it to be a great time, except when it rains. It's more than a car show, they have a nice swap meet and lots of vendors selling just about anything for a English car, and other makes. Go and enjoy it, I think you'll be happy you went !!! See you there !!!! Steve Novelli

http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/428628374_Besty,Steve,Abby, S1 in the driveway Oct 13 2006 017.jpg Hal, I think your fenders look great, I sent a photo just so you can see how others fit. Cycle fenders keep most, some, alittle , stones from hitting you. But thats the fun of it. I am enjoying your build, nice work. Steve:cheers:

I agree with the other Pa. guys, find one that has a title and registerered. As I found out the hard way ,getting mine to go thru DOT was a pain in the ass. And it took a call from my Congressman, to get the ball rolling!!!! And it is harder now than in 02. Good Luck !! Steve Novelli:ack:

My first car was a Fiat 850 Spyder, I told my grandfather I wanted a " Sports Car ", and he found this rusty car that should have gone to the Junk Yard. But it came to my Dad's garage instead, and I learned about Bondo, welding, engine rebuilding, painting. It took me 2 years to get it running and driving. I had it on the road for 6 weeks, and then my friends Mom ran into it ,and crushed the rusty front end. But I drove it home, and my Mom and I cryed over it's bad luck !!! Oh to be 16 again, not going on 50 !!! I like that orange S1, looks like mine !!!!:yesnod: Steve -
Nice Mazda, 64 outside, this will be me shortly :7fume:

EburgE, Nice web site, It's nice to watch a build. I have your torque wrench, but I don't have a 41 mm socket. Priced a 3/4 drive 41mm at 12 bucks, if you need it once, you'll need it again. Whats it for ??? I can meet you on I95 exit when you need it. Steve
